We need to eat many different types of food to be healthy
All food comes from animals or plants.

A BALANCED DIET
To have a balanced diet, you should eat food from each food group everyday.
1. Meat, eggs,fish.2. Milk and other dairy products3. Fruits and vegetables.4. Pulses, sugars and cereals

WHY DO WE EAT?
Cereals, pulses and sugars give us a lot of energy.
Milk and other dairy products give us calcium and so that our bones and teeth grow strong.
Fruits and vegetables contain vitamins that keep us healthy.
Meat, eggs and fish help us to grow.
