Welder Qualification This is for experienced welders who want to be qualified under one or more of the AWS, API, or ASME codes. This is not a structured class, but an opportunity to practice in our welding lab and work one-on-one with an AWS certified instructor prior to the qualifica-tion test. (The test will determine your ability to deposit sound welds in accordance with the standardized requirements). Practice and test duration is based on the skill level of the participant. The fee for up to 3 hours of guided practice and one qualification attempt is $245. Additional practice time, multiple tests, retests, and on-site training using your equipment are also available. 40 Hour Welding This 40 hour course covers the theory, funda-mentals, equipment, and techniques of weld-ing. You will learn about all major welding and cutting processes used in production and repair, information on reading welding sym-bols, inspecting and testing welds, and get-ting a job in the welding industry. There will be lab time to practice one or more of the welding processes most widely used in industry today, including: oxyfuel gas welding and cutting, shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, flux cored arc welding, and gas tungsten arc welding, or you may choose to specialize in preparation for welder qualification. Basic Equipment Operator Certificate Training

Certified Crane Operator Training NCC offers crane training for those looking to be certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators. This training is offered based on demand, and can be customized to meet your needs or those of your employees. There are options for both the non-experienced operator learning to operate the provided crane, as well as the experienced operator looking to prepare for the certification testing. Trainings include a mix of classroom and hands-on practice. Participants will get the opportunity to become qualified in Rigging/Signaling, and to sit for both the written and practical exams to become NCCCO certified.

Mine Safety Training The Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) requires that all Surface Miners and Surface Mining Contractors complete a Mine Safety Course. This training covers changes that could adversely affect a miner's health or safety and other health and safety subjects relevant to mining operations at the time. The Mine Safety Training Course covers the health and safety of Miners. day before the start of class to receive a 100% refund.

Cancellations The Continuing Education Department makes every effort to maintain the schedule announced in our tabloid. If a class does not have sufficient enrollment, we reserve the right to cancel, combine, or change the class schedule. If the class you registered for is cancelled, you will

be contacted and 100% of the tuition will be refunded.

Certificates Certificates of attendance are awarded at the end of each program. These must be retained by licensed professionals for four years. Duplicate certificates are provided for a fee. No credit will

be given for partial attendance.
