    This wreath is the letter O in the word JOY shown here. The tatted candy cane is the letter J, and the Y is tatted tiny snowflakes.

    Ring (3 - 3 - 3 - 3) turnChain (8 - - - 8) Turn

    Repeat until you have 5 rings separated by 5 chains and nothing is joined together yet.

    This will bend around in a circle with the rings towards the center of the circle, and the chains around the outside.

    Ring (3 - 3 - 3 +) Join to the the first picot of the first ring. TurnChain (8 - - - 8)

    Ring ( 3 + 3 - 3 + 3) Join to the the third picot of the first ring and the first picot of the second ring, but before tatting the second join be sure the shuttle and ball thread are both in front of the tatting. Turn

    Chain (8 - - - 8) Turn

    Repeat from ***** around until there are 11 rings that form a complete cir-cle with overlaping chains between them. Tie the last chain end to the base of the first ring to complete the wreath. Hide and cut the ends.
