April 2017 Transport Access Program Eastwood Commuter Car Park The NSW government is providing additional commuter parking for customers using Eastwood Station. The new commuter car park will provide a better experience for customers by delivering accessible, modern, secure, and integrated transport infrastructure. Project overview Following a review of potential sites in the area and initial consultation with City of Ryde Council, Transport for NSW has identified two potential locations for the commuter car park: West Parade, lower Eastwood Park West Parade, multi-storey over Bus Interchange Transport for NSW is seeking your feedback on the two options to help us understand what is important to our customers and the broader community, and help us progress the design for the preferred site. Come and meet the Transport for NSW team Keep your eye out for ‘pop-up’ information booths and drop-in sessions where you will be able to learn more about the two options. Our friendly staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. Project overview Following a review of potential sites in the area and initial consultation with City of Ryde Council, Transport for NSW has identified two potential locations for the commuter car park:

West Parade, lower Eastwood Park

One potential location for the commuter car park is the lower field at Eastwood Park adjacent to West Parade. Key features include:

• c onverting the existing oval into a ground level • six accessible spacescommuter car park to provide around 270 new • lighting and CCTVcar spaces

• upgrade to change rooms and amenities building• c onstruction of an all-weather, multi-use synthetic

• a c onstruction timeframe of approximately surface above the at-grade car park for the

West Parade, multi-storey over Bus Interchange

An alternative location being considered is building a multi-storey car park over the existing commuter car park on West Parade. Key features include:

• c onstruction of a six storey car park above the existing bus interchange to provide around 250 car spaces

• improved lighting and CCTV

• construction of a lift

• five accessible spaces

• integrated access to trains and buses

• a construction timeframe of around 14 months.
