Day 1 | Monday, Oct 3rd QUEBEC CITY

Arrival at the J. Lesage Airport in Quebec City. Transfer to hotel. Get settled in your rooms. Free time for rest. Mass followed by an evening dinner.

Day 2| Tuesday, Oct 4th QUEBEC CITY

This morning after breakfast, your guide will take you on a walking tour of Old Québec City where you will enjoy the charm of the first French settlement of North America. From the Latin Quarter to the Plains of Abraham, to the walls of the famous Château Frontenac, the City Hall at Place Royale, Québec reveals all its secrets. Mass at the Church of Our Lady of Victories. Free time for lunch in the Old City. In the afternoon, visit to Le Parlement (Québec’s Legislature) which houses the National Assembly with its 125 elected deputies. Take a stroll on the Plains of Abraham to the Château Frontenac. Return to the hotel for your evening dinner.

Day 3| Wednesday, Oct 5th QUEBEC CITY - SAINTE ANNE DE BEAUPRÉ ( 35 kms)

This morning, you will begin your day with an explanation about the spiritual fondations of Québec, including Notre Dame de Québec. Meet Québec’s two newest saints, Mgr François de Laval, first bishop of Québec and Marie de l’Incarnation, foundress of the Ursulines of Québec. Too, meet Blessed Catherine de Saint-Augustin, foundress of the Augustinians of l’Hôtel-Dieu de Québec, a teaching hospital. Mass in Notre Dame de Québec. Free time for lunch in the city. In the afternoon, visit the Anglican Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. Shopping and leisurely time in Old City’s Champlain Quarter. Transfer to the religious guesthouse in Ste Anne de Beaupré. Evening dinner on site.

Day 4| Thursday, Oct 6th SAINTE ANNE DE BEAUPRÉ - TROIS RIVIÈRES (165 kms)

Take time to discover the Basilica of Sainte Anne de Beaupré and to soak in the sense of peace that prevails here. Catechetical visit of the Basilica and the Great Chapel followed by a Mass. Lunch at the Inn of the Basilica. In the afternoon, travel on the King's Road on the way to Trois-Rivières. This is Canada’s oldest road (1737) used to link the three most important cities of New France (Montreal, Trois Rivières and Québec). En route, stop at Cap Santé to trod along Le Vieux Chemin (the old road) that follows the river. Bordered by beautiful stone and wooden old houses, this path is one of the most picturesque of Canada. Evening dinner and accommodation in a religious guesthouse.

Day 5| Friday, Oct 7th TROIS RIVIÈRES

This morning, visit the Ursuline Museum including the chapel and the permanent exhibition detailing the spiritual life of the Ursuline Sisters, from the Council of Trent to the Second Vatican Council. Coffee served in the formerStudent Boarders’ Dining Hall dating back to 1806. Visit to a sugar shack (cabane à sucre) for maple toffee on ice. There, enjoy traditional Québecois food and music. This afternoon is dedicated to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Cape in Trois-Rivières, Canada’s National Marian Shrine. Visit to the Basilica and the smaller church, renowned as one of the oldest churches of Canada (1720). Learn about the two major miraculous events that took place here : the Pont de Glace (or Ice Bridge) and the Prodigy of the Eyes which Blessed Father Frederick Jansoone (beatified by John Paul II in1988. He was among the witnesses to these events. Free time along the St. Lawrence River. Settle into your onsite religious guesthouse. Evening dinner.

Day 6| Saturday, Oct 8th TROIS RIVIÈRES – MONTREAL (160 kms)

This morning, depart for the city of Montréal. Panoramic tour of this North American city of contrasts, mixing old-world charm and excitement of the New World. Then, discover the Place d'Armes, Place Jacques Cartier where we find the oldest houses, Mount Royal Park, in the most fashionable district of the city, the Olympic Stadium and the city center where old elegant buildings are found alongside modern skyscrapers. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, a guided tour will allow you to understand the Work of Faith which was the foundation of Ville-Marie (Montréal). be included. Visit the Sulpician Seminary, the oldest building in the historic district. Then, visit the chapel of Notre- Dame-de-Bon-Secours, founded by Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys (whose mortal remains are interred here). Evening dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 7| Sunday, Oct 9th MONTREAL - KAHNAWAKE – MONTREAL (35 kms)

Spend the morning at St. Joseph's Oratory of Mount Royal, a jewel of Canadian Heritage, founded in the early 20th century by Saint Brother André, a man of God with unwavering faith. Discover the most beautiful panorama of Montréal, the Oratory’s crypt, the basilica and the votive chapel. Mass. Proceed to the gardens and the Stations of the Cross. Lunch on site. Drive to Kahnawake (south shore of Montréal) in order to journey with Saint Kateri Tekakwitha at the sanctuary dedicated to her. Kateri, nicknamed 'the Lily of the Mohawks' was the first indigenous saint of North America. Visit the small museum dedicated to this saint. Return to Montréal for evening dinner and overnight.

Day 8| Monday, Oct 10th MONTREAL - KINGSTON - TORONTO

After breakfast, we will make our way to Toronto via Kingston for a cruise on the Mille Iles river allowing you to admire one of the most spectacular geological formations, the Thousand Islands (Mille îles) which are the remains of an ancient chain of granite mountains. On board, navigate through a large grouping of islands called the Admiralty Islands which are dotted with small cottages. Free time for lunch and then on to Toronto. While Toronto’s city tour, you will see these main points of interest: St. George’s university, the modern City Hall and the Old City Hall, the Yorkville district, Chinatown, and Lake Ontario among other sites ... Evening dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 9| Tuesday, Oct 11th TORONTO - MIDLAND - TORONTO

After breakfast, departure for Midland via St. Ignace II, place where Saint Jean de Brébeuf and St. Gabriel Lalement suffered their martyrdom in March 1649. Then, transfer to the National Shrine of the Canadian Martyrs commonly known as the Martyrs Shrine. Mass followed by free time for lunch on site. In the afternoon, veneration of the relics and Stations of the Cross evoking the memory of Fathers Brébeuf, Lalement, Garnier, Chabanel and many other Jesuit missionaries who worked among the 20,000 Hurons of the Georgian Bay region in the 17th century. They still inspires pilgrims who come to tread the sacred ground to reflect on the heroic virtues of these pioneers of the cross. In late afternoon, return to Toronto: evening dinner and overnight lodging.

Day 10| Wednesday, Oct 12th TORONTO – NIAGARA FALLS - TORONTO

This morning we will be on our way to Niagara Falls to visit the spiritual center of Mount Carmel, which houses the Canadian shrine dedicated to St. Therese of Lisieux. The monastery, covering an area of 10 acres, overlooks the breathtaking Niagara Falls, making it a perfect place for reflection and meditation. The incredible architecture of his 138 year-old building offers unparalleled attention to detail. Visit of the main sanctuary and celebrate mass. Lunch. Spend a leisurely afternoon to enjoy the town and its shops or take the opportunity to experience the Maid of the Mist and cruise to the foot of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, a breathtaking experience! (note : additional costs for this). Back in Toronto for evening dinner and overnight .

Day 11| Thursday, Oct 13th TORONTO – RETURN FLIGHT

After breakfast, while Toronto’s city tour, you will see these main points of interest: St. George’s university, the modern City Hall and the Old City Hall, the Yorkville district, Chinatown, and Lake Ontario among other sites ..Lunch in town. Transfer to the Toronto Airport for your return flight back to Edmonton, AB.

Quebec licensee Reservations & Payments A deposit of $500.00 CAD is required along with your signed registration form. Include an additional amount equal to travel insurance, if required. Money orders, credit cards (except for American Express) and personal cheques (Canada only) are payable to Spiritours. The balance is due no less than 90 days before departure (unless specified differently in the itinerary) the tour operator reserves the right to cancel your booking if payments are late. The following cancellation charges will apply. Cancellation Charges If you have to cancel, please notify us immediately. Cancellation penalty charges will apply based on the date the tour operator receives notice of cancellation as follows: Up to 60 days prior to departure: $500.
