Bulletin Guidelines

To insure your information makes it into the bulletin date of your choice please be advised:

1. Your information needs to be written or typed and to the parish office no later than 4 pm Thursdays or emailed to [email protected] no later than 5 pm Fridays. Calling your information into the office or emailing it to one of the office staff will not guarantee that it will get to me in a timely manner and into the bulletin. 2. Monday, the bulletin is complete and is being proofed. Adding things at that time, while not impossible, are not encouraging so avoid this if at all possible. The bulletin is sent to the publisher by the end of the day on Monday. 3. Space in the bulletin is always a challenge. Even though you have until Sunday through the email address, the sooner you get your announcement in the better. If space is at a premium, any given week, editing may happen to fit things in. Thank you for your cooperation. Pam Walton

March 15-17, we took 8 youth from nativity and 6 adults to abbey fest in Cov-ington, La. The theme was Revealed. The speakers were amazing and touched on youth topics that are sensitive, but need to be talked about...Jason and Crystalina Evert had an amazing story about chastity and waiting for your Spouse that God has chosen for you. Lots of music, dancing and making new friends was a highlight for our Nativity YOUTH! The line to confession seemed endless, it was so nice seeing so many Youth taking the time to celebrate the sacrament of Confession. There were over 4000 youth who came from all over the southern states. We ended the amazing Saturday with Mass celebrat-ed by the Bishop of New Orleans, a candle lit vespers and Adoration.

It was truly an amazing, Blessed weekend. If you missed it...look for an-nouncement on the Youth Bulletin board for next year’s trip, March 22.
