Measuring Me

Our first week back we headed outside to investigate

how we had grown taller. Nick and Amy used unifix

cubes to count by ones whilst Charlotte, Phoebe, Emily

and Parker used MAB blocks to count by tens and

ones.

Who was the tallest?

Our Holidays

On the holidays I saw an echidna. It was a BIG echidna.

On Monday the vet came to do preg testing. I fell off the horse and it hurt. I had to go to hos-

pital. It was the Walcha Hospital. I had to have some Panadol.

On another day we went to Top Station to have a barbeque. The next morning it was Easter

and I got a chocolate rabbit with smartees inside it. Then we had an Easter egg hunt and I

found the most.

Phoebe, year 2

On the holidays I went to Grandma’s house. I had fun...heaps of fun!!!! One of the things I

liked was that I got the book, Lord of the Rings. It burst my head off!

Another thing I liked was going to the Easter Show. It was fun. There was a big slide and

two roller coasters. I went on one, the other one was bad because it twirled round like this

@@@@. It did not look nice at all and I saw two of the people get off and spew up. That’s

why I did not go on it.

The day after the Show I bought Kids Monopoly. Grandma and I played it and the game

went forever because we didn’t stop when we ran out of money. In the end I won.

The next day I went home. I went to sleep!

Parker, year 3

On the holidays we went to Louie’s to have a barbeque. Then we had an Easter hunt. After

that we had dinner at Louie’s. I had lots of fun.

Charlotte, year 1

On the holidays we went camping at Ben and Kristy’s house. They had two boys and one

girl. The two boys had motor bikes so we rode ours too.

On Saturday I woke and I saw Blake on Mum and Dad’s mattress so everyone woke up.

We had breakfast and then we went to a party. We went back to the camp when it was

night time.

In the morning the Easter Bunny came to camp. We had chocolate for breakfast before we

drove home. I t was night and we were very tired when we got home. Mum and Dad said,

‘Good Night”.

Emily, year 3

National Family Reading Month

May is National Family Reading Month

This provides a wonderful opportunity for your family

to form reading

habits that you can follow for the entire year and

beyond.

So snuggle up and share a book!
