Surrey City Council’s policy is to require each new neighbourhood to contribute toward the provision of amenities inthe neighbourhood. The proposed amenity contributions for this East Clayton NCP Expansion area will be collected for each new dwelling unit and for each new institutional development on per acre basis. The money will be used toward park and greenway development and upgrading of fire, police, and library services.
* The per unit park amenity contribution will be used towards the following:
• Enhancement of the detention pond area;• Development and improvement of pedestrian trails; and• Development of the proposed east-west greenway along
the south side of the Clayton Heights Secondary School.
