2Eligible • BTU, paraprofessional chapter members (PSRP Excluded)

• Full time employees in good standing • 10 years or more service with City Schools (hire date on or before 9-1-12), Does not have to be continuous.• Employees must remain in an active pay status from the beginning of the program until the end of the 2011/12 school year. Employees on approved FMLA, Military or Workers’ Compensation leave of absence are exempt from the requirement to remain in a paid status for the duration of their approved leave.

Job Titles Eligible

Incentive 50% of base salary (including longevity pay) paid into an approved City Schools 403(b) plan (designated by employees ) on September 1, 2012

Sick Leave Payout Those meeting the eligibility requirements under the union contract will receive their payout with their ERIP payment .

Payment The ERIP and eligible sick leave payout will be made as a lump sum payment on September 1, 2012 into the employee designated City Schools approved 403(b) plan.

Death benefit Death benefit equal to 50% of base salary plus eligible sick leave payout if death occurs prior to September 1. Payment paid to designated beneficiary/estate.

Deadline To enroll: May 11, 2012. There is a 7 day revocation period. Employees have until May 18, 2012 to revoke their election

Participation Requirements

No minimum participation. Maximum participation = 200

Re-employment Participants are eligible for reemployment only as substitute teachers on a per diem basis. (No long term subs, no temps)

Informational Meeting

Informational meetings will be held Thursday, March 15 and Friday, March 16, in room 301, 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
