I share a classroom with another teacher in the Spanish department. I observe her classes during my prep

period, and she observes me when she has her prep period. I collaborated with another colleague in the Spanish

department to plan, carry out and present our growth plan (academic research) for the year.

I was paired with a separate teacher from my mentor teacher as a member of a 10th grade team that was

focused on collaboration even as we taught our own separate classrooms. I have met with the teaching instructor at the middle school I teach at about data, lesson planning, and the

workshop model that Guion Creek Middle School uses. I have also attended professional development meetings

for new employees. I also lesson plan closely with a teacher who has been at the school for 12 years and she

serves as my mentor teacher.
