Dear Dr. Rising,

My name is Zachary Wielgosz. I’ve been a member of the Gifted Math Program

since 2007, and I am currently working toward becoming an Eagle Scout. As my service

project, I am removing invasive honeysuckle plants from an area of Iroquois Wildlife

Refuge and replacing them with native shrubs. To do this, I need to raise approximately

$200 to purchase the native seedlings. As a person with interest in the refuge, I believe

that you are an ideal source of help. Would you be willing to donate part of this amount,

or point me in the direction of people who would? Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,

Zachary Wielgosz
