Housekeeping

• Hand-in: any late work for any of the short stories

Time

• On a specific day: on Saturday, on June 12, on your birthday

• In a part of a day: in the morning, in the daytime (but at night)

• In a month, season or year: in November, in 1492

• In a period of time: in a minute, in a couple of days, in a while

• At a specific time: at 10:00 a.m., at dawn, at dinnertime.

• In a place that is enclosed: in my bedroom, in the hallway, in the drawer

Short Story Assignments

Example

My brother Juan is a energetic person.[Add: First, Juan is energetic at work] Juan does his own job well and always takes on extra work that needs to be done. He helps new employees get oriented and feel comfortable. He organizes social activities at work. He also likes to repair household appliances and do renovations on the home.
