HF-Erfassungsstelle Lauf BFSt (BND) NOTE: until 1975NOTE: From 1936 to 1975, radio traffic (radio and diplomatic radio) long, medium and short waves.The Horchstelle Lauf from 1939 to 1945 directly under the super-command of the Wehrmacht and supervised diplomatic radio traffic around the world.The buildings of the Horchstelle Lauf were occupied from 1945 to 1951 by the Americans.In 1952 the "Funktechnische Versuchsanstalt" from the BND took over the operation.The technical purchase clarification was continued with the direction of the East as far as the move to Gablingen in the mid-1970s.In the course of time, the tower house and the team building were demolished and the areas were rebuilt.Since 1977, the "Technisches Hilfswerk (THW)" [= Technical Aid Company] has been using the factory building and workshop of the former Horchstelle.Unfortunately, the original antenna system is no longer available.

Moritzberg Relay StationNote: In 1952, the FM radio station of the Bayerische Rundfunks and the Americanmilitary radio station AFN came into contact with the public electricity grid.Two years later, however, the transmitter was moved to the Dillberg near Neumarkt,because the Moritzberg is in the flight envelope of today's Nuremberg airport.Today's residential building was the relay station.On the tower (Bismarckturm) there is still an antenna installationwhich was established by the police in 1982.
