Introduction

My E-Portfolio summarizes my achievements

and professional development during the

course about technology in the educative

environment I took recently.

Also contains the virtual tools I was able to

apply in order to become a tech engaged 21st

century teacher.

Gabriel Marquez studied Technical Bilingual at Universidad

Capitan General Gerardo Barrios San Miguel and graduated in

2009. Then started the Bachelor Degree in English Language in

2010 graduated in 2013.

At the present time Gabriel is taking the Pre-specialization

course at Universidad Gerardo Barrios. In order to get his

Diploma of Bachelor Degree in English Language.

Gmail

Gmail from Google platform is a good alternative for having an email account,

and the advantage is to access to the Google apps by login into the web site.

I will use my Gmail account to sent information through the web and for opening

account into other web sites.

Google Drive

Drive is a good tool for creating

documents, is in Google apps and

allow the user the possibility of

share and work with a partner at

the same time.

I will use Drive to create online

documents and to store some of

my own in a safe platform.

Google Apps

Google platform also provides

some apps that are useful for

web users such as Maps,

Translator, Google play, Google +

and many more.

I will take advantage of the new

technologies and use the apps

create by this platform in order to

increase my web skills for crating

new ways of teaching.

Blogger

Blogger is a virtual platform that

allow me to post and publish my

work and share it on the web. It is

a personal site where users

display important information

I will use my blog in order to

publish and share papers focused

on English Language

Development.

Rubistar

Rubistar is a good tool for

teachers who evaluate students´

achievements and performance

with a different approach to the

usual numerical scores.

I will use my rubric in order to

evaluate students based on the

goals they achieve in the English

Language.

Scribd

Scribd is an online platform

designed for uploading documents,

articles and papers, also it allows

the user to share the same

document into the social

networking.

I will use Scribd as a publishing site

where I can share my essays online

and people can see them.

Slide Share

Slide is a publishing web site for

Power Point presentations and

other formats. The users also have

the opportunity to display the

documents they have already

uploaded.

I will use this virtual tool for

publishing my PP presentations

and other essays.

WebQuest

WebQuest is a virtual tool where

teachers can create online

wallpapers by gathering

information from different web

sources.

I will use my WebQuest to have

additional lessons plans related to

contents of the syllabus. I also will

encourage my students to access

the platform.
