Founded in 1933 by the Benedictine Community of St. Meinrad Abbey, Indiana - Marmion Academy has experienced a long, rich history among private college preparatory schools. As the only Catholic boys high school in the Midwest offering a JROTC program and LEAD program, the Academy provides its students with unparalleled opportunities for intellectual accomplish-ment, spiritual growth and leadership development.
The 325 acre campus includes attractive, modern facili-ties for its student body of 531 young men. Recognized as one of the top private secondary schools in the region, Marmion presents a highly respected faculty including 44 lay faculty members and 7 Benedictines. With a college acceptance rate of 100 percent and 128 National Merit Finalists among its graduates, Marmion students consistently rank among the best. A tradi-tion of excellence characterizes Marmion Academy ... A tradition that is “The Marmion Advantage.”
