新西蘭的幼兒教育及小學

嬰兒（infant） – 從出生到18個月 幼兒（toddler） – 從1歲到3歲 兒童（young child） – 2歲半到5歲 家長可自行選擇不同的托兒服務和學前教育。 * 幼兒園階段不接受國際學生入讀。

1-6年級（Primary School) – 5到10歲 7-8年級（Intermediate School） – 11歲到12歲 • 5歲起，允許國際學生申請入讀新西蘭的小學，直系親屬可申請陪讀

簽證直至孩子年滿18歲。 • 陪讀簽證的家長可兼職工作（有條件限制）。

9-13年級（College / High School) – 13到17歲 • 新西蘭中小學一學年為4個學期，二月初開學，12月初開始放暑假，

直至第二年2月。 • 學校有男校、女校及男女混合校；學校類型分為公立、私立及教

會學校。

教學體系

1 -10年級 – 全國統一的必修課程。 11-13年級 – 側重專業技能課程學習。為學生未來發展方向及職業奠定 基礎。 課程分為8個學科領域：英語；數學；自然科學；社會科學；衛生健康教育；藝術；技術；語言學習

Guardian visas

Parents or legal guardians may be granted a visitor visa to accompany their child (or children) during their study in New Zealand if: 子女在新西蘭學習期間父母或法定監護人可以申請簽證陪同和照顧他們但必須符合以下條件:

• Child is aged 17 years old or younger or enrolled in school years 1 – 13 子女年齡為17歲或以下或就讀課程為1-13年級

• Only one guardian visa (in a family) will be issued at any one time (even in the case of multiple children holding student visas) 每個家庭只有一人可獲批監護人簽證（即使是有多個孩子擁有學生簽證）

• Guardian visa holders may apply for a variation of conditions to their visitor visas for part-time work between the hours of 9.30am and 2.30pm (Monday to Friday) or part time study 持有監護人簽證者可以申請變更簽證的條款，使其星期一至星期五的上午9:30 到下午的 2:30期間可從事非全職的工作或非全職的學習

• Funds requirement for living costs is NZD $1,000 per month 每月所需生活費至少 NZ$ 1,000

• A ‘legal guardian’ is the person with the legal right and responsibility to provide care for the student AND is the person who provides for the care of the student in the student’s home country (i.e. friends and relatives in New Zealand can not act as a guardian). 法定監護人是指法律上認可人仕 （例如: 父母或者法庭指定的監護人）在學生本國及其于海外學習期間承擔照顧學生的責任 （新西蘭的朋友和親戚不符合監護人的資格）。

Pathway student visa pilot 試驗性質的進階學生簽證

• Pilot was implemented on 7 December 2015 for an Initial pilot period of 18 months and now extend to 7 June 2018.

最初于 2015 年 12 月 7 日實施為期18 個月但修訂延長 到 2018 年 6 月 7 日

• As at 4 April 2016, 140 education providers are participating in the pathway student visa pilot. 截至 2016 年 4 月 4 日，有140 間教育機構參與此試驗性質的進階學生簽證

• Students do not need to apply for multiple visas for their whole planned pathway of study. Pathway student visa allows international students to undertake a progression of up to three consecutive programmes of study with selected education providers on a single visa. The visa will be valid up to a maximum of five years. 學生不需要辦理多次簽證申請。進階學生簽證允許國際學生以單一簽證從指定的教育機構選三 個連續課程。簽證有效期最多為五年。

• Study pathways not eligible under the pilot: pathway to Level 1-4 Certificate on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF). 不適用課程進階到新西蘭NZQF 1-4 級證書課程。
