DXP Bringing Retail, Care and Online Closer Together

§ Reduce Customer Burden of effort / Friction –§ Customers are also viewing items online and have to reach out to a call

center to check availability in a given size, location, whatnot – but then have to explain to the call center agent what they are looking for. Journey Creator’s pause & resume functionality allows an agent to see where the customer left off in the online portal and pick up right from there to complete the transaction after checking for availability or if there was an issue with the website for some reason.

§ Another example is when customers are told they need to speak with a number of different departments / offices within a given company and find themselves having to either repeat their situation over-and-over again as they are passed from one call center to another OR they have to wait an extended time period during a warm transfer for one agent to bring the second agent up to speed. These types of experiences place the burden on end customers and leads to frustration due to the friction created by different departments or different vendors who support the same company.
