¨  Turkish  e-­‐book  providers  are  on  the  rise  (idefix,  D&R,  mnet)  but  non  of  them  has  library  purchase  model

¨  Student  purchase  is  the  dominant  model  ¨  Most  publishers  don’t  supply  e-­‐versions  of  core  textbooks  via  libraries  

¨  Need  for  a  pricing  models  for  library-­‐delivered  e-­‐textbooks  

¨  The  content  coverage  of  e-­‐book  packages  rarely  meet  the  needs  of  core  reading  lists  in  higher  educa.on  

¨  Inadequate  Turkish  content  ¨  DRM  policies  differs  from  one  publisher  to  another  ¨  Different  func.onali.es    on  mobile  environments

¨  Publishers  want  to  sell,  libraries  wants  to  purchase,  users  want  to  read  but  current  business  models  lag  behınd
