a. Add O93 site manager port/management IP to N19 LDP protocol To view the site’s Manager Port IP, Open O93 mananger port(Interface Manager<> Manager

Port),check its Prim IP :10.112.136.27.

b. Open N19 LDP protocol(NE Config> Protocol config> LDP) ,Click LDP_Item Peer, Right click on the blank space, then click “add”.

c. Manually the the O93 Manager Port IP on N19 LDP Protocol Config. Exit on the LDP Item Peer. Right Click at the created LDP Protocol Item and Click Save Selected to Device.

e. To check if LDP protocol is ok, go to Secure CRT. Enter the command show ldp session, check its uptime

f. Check the tunnel configuration if correct.

Example given: We have created a new tunnel, from 3835 to 6113. Use Secure CRT,enter the command “sh run rsvp-path” Path_0 is main path ,have 2 next-hop Path_2 is backup path ,have 6 next-hop You can observe on the path details the IP address of the next hop router interface. You can check/verify it via Ethernet config.

g. To check the created service via mpls vc, go to Secure CRT Type the command #show mpls vc-table Port must have uptime. h. Testing E1 ports(Loop Testing and BER testing).

If card has 32 e1, enable the ports first in Card configuration >> Context Config. To conduct loop testing(set up for example is Site A <> Site B. Go to the E1 card >>

Control Command.

LLB: Local Loopback = enable loop at Site A DDF facing the BER tester(also installed in Site A) DLB: Device Loopback = enable loop at Site A facing the DDF of Site B(depending on the created tunnel/trail, where BER tester is installed in Site B).

Select LLB, turn loop ON on the corresponding port and click Play.

Notes/Tips:

DLB corresponds to loop at card facing far end device. Example: C10 DDF : C10 NE <><><>><><> C01 NE : C01 DDF. If FO have a BER tester

at C01 DDF and FO wants to you provide a loop at C10 NE, you have to access C10 and enable a DLB loop.

On 865/845, you need to enable the e1 ports on card configuration “context” to also enable the alarms.

Upon enabling the ports, alarm that will be seen on E1 port is PPI_LOS(Signal Loss alarm of PDH Physical Interface) and AIS alarm(Alarm Indication Signal). Hard loop on its DDF must changed the PPI_LOS alarm to only AIS alarm.

i. Providing loop in a STM card(S101 and S102).

Scenario/Condition 2: There is available tunnel. New E1 service.

For the creation of E1 service, if there is available tunnel, just create a VC on that tunnel before the creation of service. 1. Configure the PDH interfaces. Right click at the source NE, click NE Config. 2. Go to Interface Manager >> CES Interface 3. Right click at the blank space, select Add. 4. Choose the port(based on CAO), select > button and then click Add. 5. Right click on the CES port to be activated then Choose Save Selected to Device. 6. Go to the Destination Site and conduct Steps 1 to 5. 7. Go to Business Management View, Under All Circuits Tab, Search the Dynamic Tunnel

using the Source NE ID typed on the Search Box. Dynamic Tunnel must be the link from your Source to the Destination Site.

8. Right Click on the Tunnel, Choose Add IPRAN VC Circuit. 9. Details:

Signaling: Dynamic Click Next

10. Batch Creation Settings Lot Size: (Depends on the numbers of E1 service which corresponds to the equal number of VC that must be created) Click Completed

11. Go to Business Management View, Choose/Select the VC you’ve created, Right Click then Choose Add IPRAN CES Service.

12. On the drop down list, select the port type(can be PDH E1 or STM 1 port) and the corresponding Source and Sink Port(based on Work Order).

13. Click Completed 14. Under PTN Ethernet Service, Right click the E-CES with to be activated status and select

“Deliver Cross-connect of the Selected Path”. 15. Check the Port by checking the uptime status at Secure Crt, accessing its NE IP, and

typing the show mpls vc-table command.

Scenario/Condition 3: Need to provision E-CES

source and dest is on different isis domain with existing STATIC tunnel source to a site(MAIN DOMAIN ROUTER) that has protection

and a tunnel from destination site to that last site with protection(with west and east link)

source site has no protection

1. Verify if has existing tunnel Source to Last NE/Site that has protection(to be assigned as middle site, with static tunnel which is protected. Protected Site to Destination Site Example below: You want to configured E1 service from C74 Caniao to 3835 SFLU. C74 will have no protection up to C15 Vigan, but we have a protected static tunnel from C15 to SFLU.

2. Create VC/Pw. On Business Management View > Go to IP config > VC config

Check: multiple pw Signaling: static Tick the source and Dest site Next
