NATIONAL RUBBER ECONOMIC CONFERENCE 2013
The Malaysian Rubber Board is organising the 3rd National Rubber Economic Conference (NREC) 2013 from 23 - 24 October 2013 in Kuala Lumpur. Themed “Rubber Industry at the Crossroads: Blazing New Trails”, NREC 2013 would be held in conjunction with the Malaysia International Commodity Conference & Showcase (MICCOS) 2013. MICCOS is a premier event on Malaysian commodities that brings together major industry players and entrepreneurs in the commodities sector. The Conference is followed by a half day tour to MICCOS 2013, which will be held at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park, Serdang (MAEPS), Selangor.
NREC will provide a platform for the exchange of information and knowledge sharing of technologies, views on the economic situation including price trend. Apart from these, MRB would be discussing the One Nation Rubber Strategy that will revolutionise the industry to be sustainable and attractive for investors. Several key players, local and abroad will present papers related to policies, downstream technologies, market outlook and trends as well as the new mechanisation system for tapping.
