Your terminal identifies the card type and card

currency and automatically suggests making the payment with DCC

The amount is converted using an exchange rate

If a better exchange rate is found by the customer on the same day with the same card, then Worldline will refund your customer the difference.

Your customer will find all details including the refund form atwww.worldline.com/dcc/best-rate.

Your customer fills out the online form and attaches the following documents:

Transaction receipt

Copy of the credit card bill or the account statement for debit cards

Worldline refunds the difference to your customers.

Following the purchase, your customer checks whether the payment was made on the same day and compares the exchange rate from Worldline with that of his card issuer.

The POS terminal shows you on its display that an international card has been inserted.

Ask the customer proactively if he would like to pay with DCC. Ask simple questions that the customer can answer with ‘yes’ or ‘no’.
