Two stage, vacuum, low temperature evaporation coupled to an ammonia scrubber to deliver:
* Ammonium Sulphate solution for storage, use or for sale.* Concentrated, ammonia free solids for soil improvement.* Clean, condensed water for re-use or unrestricted discharge to land.
The process can be run at a high through for ammonia removal only without solids concentration
With a pre wash step, the evaporator can be used to remove ammonia from spent chicken litter to make an efficient biogas plant feed.

A wide range of pollutants can be efficiently removed up to 98%
including:
Heavy metals, COD, BOD, suspended and colloidal solids,
FOGs, bacteria, viruses, hydrocarbons, pesticides and
herbicides.
Dirty water from an open cast clay mine.
Left is the dirty water which is extremely difficult to settle out the
solids.
After Electrocoagulation, the 0.2 micron solids settle and the clean
water can be discharged to the river.

Biogas digestate processing using a two stage membrane process.
Stage 1 = Ultra Filtration for the separation of solids from liquidStage 2 = Reverse Osmosis for the separation of ammonia from the water
Benefits:
Capture of and retention of concentrated nutrients from the digestate for storage or spreading.
Ability to return valuable biomass to the biogas digester to increase biomass volume which in turn allows an increase substrate feed rate and increased biogas production whilst maintaining the same F/M ratio.
