I didn't send Ludvik vour reply cD.rd ·~.s it T7ould take about the sm:le time as his sending a neTl card. His cards are being printed in Peking, as it was very difficult to find appropriate setting there in Mongolia. The first cards should be here in about a month, so will you please tell the guys to be a little patient - Ludva will give everybody his QSO, just a.s he has contacted more thaD 1 1500 stations in his first tour weeks of operating from Mongolia, and a 100% QSL policy will be performed.

J.~.t the last meeting I was appoin·ted DX Contest Committee Ch-· airman by Pres. CTL with freedom to select assistants as required. Thus far TI and SR have been asked to assist.,. ·

After having giv~n the matter some considerable thought, tho Committee hit upon the idea of breaking the Club up into groups for the purpose of stirring up some inter-club competition and at the same time adding to the total score to be submitted to A'RRL for the 1958 contest• These groups which are shovm in the follovlin~ tabula:;ion represent the closust thing to an "areart breakdOi7n which could be conceived• The persons de;signated with an asterisk arc the suggested "Captains" of the teams and those shown with. tvro asterisks are their assistants. Pleaso bear in mind that these lists are merely proposed groups and cDrtainly subject to amend-in accordance with constructive criticism •••

The CommitteG is trying to work out the details of some sort at prize~ cups, trophy, etc to be presented to tho vlinning team at the same time the cups arc passed out for tho individual winn nerso The Committee feels that despite the pppurent inequalities, any one of the teams is a potential winner and it's chances of success limited oniy to the collective effort of it's members.
