Angst is a documentary designed to raise awareness around anxiety and includes inter- views with kids, teens, educators, experts, parents, as well as Michael Phelps. The documentary aims to help people identify and understand the symptoms of anxiety. Recently the Marshfield Schools recently held a similar Angst show- ing and panel discussion where over 400 parents and educators attended. We hope you are able to make time to join us. Last week eighty-eight students, grades 10-12, participated in the Distractolo- gy driving simulator. I would really like to thank the Duxbury Student Union and the Arbella Insurance Foundation for their efforts in bringing this awe- some program back to DHS and our teachers for being so accommodating to our students who participated. As our winter sports seasons are drawing to a close and playoff tournaments are on the horizon, I would like to remind everyone about Mr. Holdgate’s State of the Dragon newsletter and our athletic department homepage. In the State of the Dragon, Mr. Holdgate posts a summary of each teams performance over the course of previous week and big events in the week ahead. The athletic de- partment homepage has all of the winter tournament information and is where our DHS students can sign up for spring sports. Finally this week, I would like to wish everyone a restful February Break with family and friends. Consistent with our other vacation periods this year, no homework will be assigned over the break by any teacher.
