Cannabis Seed Collection

Almost all our varieties are available in feminized versions and around a third of these are also available as non-feminized (regular) seeds. Seeds are available in various packets, in quantities of 3, 5, 7 or 10. ‘Colour Mix’ packets combine 6 colour-coded seeds from 3 popular varieties. In addition we offer ‘High Altitude’ seeds for moun-tain/hill grows and ‘Medical seeds’ which includes our acclaimed Ortega Indica which helps people sleep well and relax. Our range of AutoFem seeds have rapidly become best-sellers. These grow from seed to harvest in just 10-11 weeks and yield large amount of very good quality cannabis. Our seeds are sieved to remove the largest and smallest ones. Only the average-sized seeds are sold, they are treated in a wind machine to remove plant material and then conditioned in a humidity cabinet to set the internal seed moisture content to the optimum 30%. Each seed batch has to pass minimum 95% germination rates before being sold. Seeds are sealed in specially designed, humidity proof Dutch Passion packets with Styrofoam balls which help protect seeds from crushing and cracked shells etc. Once purchased, seeds should be stored in a refrigerator at about 6°C to keep them fresh.

Grow-Info

Outdoor. Our outdoor varieties will perform well in greenhouses as well as outdoors. Harvest times quoted are for the Dutch climate and latitude. Outdoor strains should be started around April in a greenhouse (or protected area) to shield them from the cold, and will yield typically from 100g – 400g per plant. Green-houses fitted with ‘darkening’ blinds can accelerate the finish-ing times. Yields depend on climate, the amount of sunlight, the date of sowing and nutrition. Outdoor varieties will not grow well indoors unless specifically stated. In more northern, Scandina-vian, latitudes only the faster finishing outdoor varieties and Au-toFems can be grown outdoors. Use of greenhouses may help northern growers achieve best results with outdoor varieties.

Indoor varieties may also be grown outdoors at more southerly latitudes, and in greenhouses where the climate permits. For this reason our indoor varieties often have an ‘outdoor harvest’ date in the description. Yields of indoor varieties will vary according to several factors such as the individual variety, the amount of light and general grow-room conditions. Plants given longer veg-etative growth periods will yield most highly. Often plants grown in hydro systems such as Deep Water Culture (or ‘DWC’) will grow faster than soil-grown plants.

As well as ‘true-breeding’ varieties Dutch Passions seed col-lection also contains F1-hybrids. Crossing two ‘true breeding’ strains (hybridizing) gives a hybrid-vigour to the new variety where the growth and potency of the offspring can exceed that of either parent.Growing from seed offers many benefits over growing from cut-tings (or clones). Seed-grown plants grow larger, stronger and are more disease-resistant than cuttings. Cuttings can carry diseases from the mother plant and are less convenient to use and transport than seeds. Seeds are always available and come with guaranteed Dutch Passion service and support, the genetic heritage is always clear and you have a wide choice of varieties.

Euforia®3

THC Percentages.

For many of our varieties THC content is given. However it can be very misleading to try to guess the quality of a variety by sim-ply looking at the %THC since there is a family of psycho-active compounds (‘cannabinoids’) in each variety. Some seed com-panies deliberately exaggerate the %THC figures to boost seed sales. A THC level of around 6% is moderately strong, 7-12% THC gives a ‘strong’ weed, and 15%THC or more has a very strong effect. Dutch Passion do not sell any ‘weak’ varieties, all Dutch Passion varieties can be regarded as either ‘strong’ or ‘very strong’. The personal preferences of an individual are one of the most important aspects to enjoyment. That is the main reason why so many Dutch Passion customers have different ‘favourites’ from our collection. A great deal of research is cur-rently underway into the properties, especially medical, of the other cannabinoids present in cannabis.

Germination

If you don’t have a seed germination method you may find this information useful: Grow-rooms should have a stable tempera-ture of around 20°C. For soil grows, the soil should be neither too dry nor too wet and be about pH 6.5 Seeds should be placed around 5mm deep and the surface pressed lightly to promote even sprouting. The container can be covered with a thin trans-parent film to maintain moisture and temperature, the soil can be sprayed with water if it dries out. After 1-10 days the seeds should have sprouted and the clear foil can be removed. Af-ter 1-2 weeks the seedlings will be strong enough to move to a larger container.

Seeds can also be germinated in coco fibre and do well at a pH of 6. In rockwool a pH of 5.8 is good

Although Dutch Passion take maximum care to achieve good germination rates it is impossible to guarantee 100% germina-tion on account of the living nature of the products. The Ultimate® 4

Feminized, AutoFem & CBD seeds

Feminized seeds were invented by Dutch Passion in the 1990’s and now account for the overwhelming majority of seeds sold. The main advantage is simply that feminized seeds give rise to 95%+ female plants. You can use this to tremendous advantage both indoors and outdoors. Today the Dutch Passion process for creating feminized seeds gives rise to very consistent plants. AutoFem seeds were pioneered by the Joint Doctor, who Dutch Passion have collaborated with. After a few years of intensive breeding AutoFems now produce large yields of potent cannabis around 10 weeks after seed germination. Indoors they do this under 20 hours of daily light and they have become best sellers. Outdoors they allow an early-season harvest; in sunny climates they allow 3 crops per year. Outdoor growers in northern cli-mates can use AutoFem’s to produce a harvest in short growing seasons before the weather turns wet and cold.

Dutch Passion have created their AutoFem varieties by working with Ruderalis varieties from the Russian Ural/Udmurtia regions and breeding carefully to increase potency whilst retaining the ‘autoflowering’ characteristic which allows the plant to bloom based only on its age and irrespective of the light cycle. AutoFem seeds start flowering automatically around 3 weeks after germination even under 20 hours of daily light. It is not necessary to reduce daily light exposure to 12 hours to initiate the flowering process.

The AutoFem seeds sold by Dutch Passion are feminized and are just as popular with new growers as they are with experi-enced growers. Such is Dutch Passions confidence in our Auto-Fems that we often launch them with live internet grow diaries. Today cannabis produced from AutoFem seed are nearly as po-tent as that produced from top quality traditional varieties.

Numerous medical studies are now indicating that the CBD can-nabinoid may have very valuable medical benefits. Dutch Pas-sion are working with The CBD Crew to create CBD-rich variet-ies with a 1:1 ratio of THC:CBD which we believe will become very important for medical growers.

Dutch Cheese®5

Passion #1 is one of the best green outdoor varieties available and has been ever since the 1970’s when it first appeared as a legendary Californian Indica. Yields can range from 250 grams for typical 2.5 m tall plants to as much as 750g from large plants that can reach staggering proportions (up to 3.5m) when started early in optimum conditions. Passion#1 grows long and compact buds that are heavy with resin, this is a variety developed only for out-door/greenhouse and is famously easy to grow. Initially, the smoke is soft with a fresh citrus aroma, then Passion #1 hits you fast with a strong exhilarating ‘up’ high. Smoke a little more and you will notice a strong, heavy and pleasurable stone. We have measured Passion #1 with THC levels approaching 20%, this is a variety you will want to grow again and again...

Purple#1 is the world famous original purple strain from the 1980’s and has been treasured for it’s uniquely beautiful colourings and great high. Our original Purple#1 plant is a 50/50 sativa/indica mix. The indica comes from a special purple Afghani which was care-fully crossed to create a strong outdoor plant that is fully adapted to the Dutch climate. Yields are a reasonable 250-350 grams per plant. Purple #1 is typically 1.5m-2.5m tall, it is for outdoors/green-house only and finishes early. The fan leaves are often sativa-like in appearance and show amazing purple colours. Purple#1 gives a sticky, purple-streaked ganja that has a superb fast-hitting high. It is more of an ‘up’ high than a heavy stone with a somewhat rough, yet subtle, aroma. A great choice for those seeking a fast-finishing tough outdoor variety that combines uniquely beautiful purple buds with a fresh and potent high.

7Frisian Dew®

Frisian Dew is the most beautiful outdoor variety we have ever en-countered. It is a cross between Super Skunk female x Purple Star male that took three years of selection from clones. We produced many Skunk/Purple hybrids in the past 20 years, but we have never seen anything as good as this hybrid. Light purple colour (50% In-dica, 50% Sativa) – very high yielder, very good stem to leave ratio (only little leaves). Not susceptible to mold. Absolute premium qual-ity outdoor strain. A must for the outdoor grower, especially in the Northern Climates. Soft aroma and taste, above medium high. Very commercial. Frisian Dew: 1st prize Outdoor, High Life Holland 2008.

A proven variety dating back to the 1980’s, Shaman is a reliable, robust and highly potent F1 hybrid of an exceptional male Pur-ple#1 and a top female Skunk. Bred for the outdoor/greenhouse grower, Shaman is resistant to spider mites as well as mould and bud rot. Shaman is a distinctive, elegant plant growing with clear Sativa characteristics such as long intermodal distance between the large buds. Around half the plants turn a beautiful shade of purple during flowering which is complete by the end of Septem-ber or early October outdoors. In a greenhouse, flowering takes 7-8 weeks. Shaman shows great hybrid vigour and delivers a smooth, woody sweet purple smoke that is a sensual high-quali-ty sativa ‘up’ high. Shaman is the perfect choice for the outdoor/greenhouse grower looking for robust, quality genetics that have stood the test of time and will deliver bumper harvests.

Imported from South Africa, produced in Holland. Exclusively in-bred, never hybridized, 100% Sativa. Large long budleaves, buds are also large and long with lots of resin. A sweet licorice or anise flavour. “Up” high similar to Thai. High yields. Well suited for out-crossing with late bloomers to produce earlier flowering. Also does very well under artificial light. A very popular variety.

Hollands Hope is a potent outdoor Indica, fully acclimatised to the Dutch climate and grown outdoors since the 1980’s. It is a tough and reliable strain with good mold resistance and is ready for harvest around end September or early October after 8 weeks of flowering. Plants are 1-2m tall with buds growing to 50cm and can yield from 100g to 1000g dependent on growing conditions. Over-feeding Hollands Hope can encourage excessive leaf growth and reduce bud production. Hollands Hope is a reliable outdoor fa-vourite with a heavy sit-down indica stone that is popular with rec-reational and medical users. The smoke is quite sweet and the excellent quality stone lasts a good couple of hours. This variety comes recommended by a generation of outdoor growers.

Trance is a special outdoor variety bred for specifically for Skunk lovers who want a true Skunk experience in a plant that can ma-ture fully under outdoor conditions. She is an F1 hybrid with a tough Indica and has come out as a very nice strain which matures between the end of September till mid October. Plants may reach 1-1.5m and can produce large leaves. THC levels are 12-13% giv-ing a potent skunky weed and a relaxing yet powerful 2-3 hour stone. Trance is ideal for connecting with mother earth and making tantric spiritual journeys of the mind and soul. Trance is a strong reliable outdoor Skunk hybrid that has been popular with outdoor growers for many years. The high delivers a good quality, deep and escapist stone that will allow your mind and body to break away from the 21st century confines and find a true inner peace.

Twilight is a proven outdoor strain, 100% Indica with heavy yields, buds that can be 50cm long and absolutely beautiful purple co-lourations. She is often sown after 15th May and harvested at the end of September/1st week October. The plants grow to 1-1.5m and have good yields of a strong, uplifting and skunky ganja with an earthy taste and strong, sour Afghani flavour. Twilight is a reli-able outdoor 100% Indica strain which has been popular for many years with medical and recreational growers. A good yielder with a true Indica body stone and a smooth high. Many of the repeat-growers of Twilight are medical users who say that this is particu-larly effective for arthritis or chronic pain. Recreational users of Twilight only recommend smoking this in the evening; otherwise it will wipe out the whole day!

Most cultivated varieties developed by seed companies are se-lected at and used at low altitudes. Low altitude varieties do not respond well at higher altitudes. We looked at all the offerings by other seed companies and could not find good high-altitude strains. To fill the demand for alpine strains DP developed two “High Altitude” strains: Pamir Gold® and SnowBud®. These two strains are adapted to the higher altitudes of the Alpes, Pyrenees, Sierra Nevada, Kaukasus and other mountainous regions in the world.

SnowBud is our second “High Altitude” variety. SnowBud is a hy-brid of Afghani and South African genetics. As with Pamir Gold the selection work is done in the Swiss Alpes. SnowBud (60% Sativa, 40% Indica) has a spicy (cinnamon), skunky smell and taste, smokes very smooth and has a medium “up high”. Healthy plants may reach 1.8 till 2.2 meters outdoors. Mold and mildew re-sistant. Yield: above average. Does also well indoors. The name SnowBud refers to the huge amount of white pistils in the female flowers (buds).

Pamir Gold originated in the western Himalayas of Tadzjikistan. The plant was adapted to the high altitudes of the Swiss Alpes during several years of selective breeding. Once selected seeds were reproduced in the Netherlands. Pamir Gold is a mostly In-dica variety (60%,40%) having a sweet earthy taste with a breath of lemon and pear. Healthy plants are 1.5 to 1.8 meters in height outdoors. Mold and mildew resistant. Yield: above average. Does also well indoors. Subtile stoned/high.

Think Different is the real surprise package in the Dutch Passion AutoFem collection. She has quickly established a great repu-tation for stunning yields and very strong weed. Even first time growers have achieved over 100g/plant and experienced growers can achieve 200g-300g+. She can grow over 1m tall in experi-enced hands and is a good alternative to traditional varieties, of-fering bumper harvests of strong cannabis just 10-11 weeks after seed germination. The genetics come from a special AK47 hybrid known as AK420.

Indoors she has the potential to yield up to 500g/m² especially in ‘scrog’ systems with powerful lights. She joined our list of best sell-ers just one year after she was released and has created a follow-ing of AutoFem growers who refuse to grow anything else. Serious growers like you should try growing this at least once!

AutoMazar is a high performance AutoFem, she is robust and easy to grow. She is also a reliable producer of great quality cannabis whether grown in soil, coco fibre or a hydro system. AutoMazar delivers a genuinely strong and long lasting high. This is one of the most consistent AutoFems ever created and remains Dutch Passion’s best selling AutoFem for all the right reasons.

Original Mazar is a legendary prize-winning variety which needs no introduction; we crossed this with an indica-dominant auto to create AutoMazar. The plants typically reach 70-80cm, they grow strongly and yield extremely well. New growers often crop 50g+ of sticky potent bud per plant. Experienced growers routinely crop 100-200g+ per plant especially in hydro systems. The best result so far is 360g.

StarRyder is the product of a very successful project between Dutch Passion and the Joint Doctor. The collaboration took a few years to create this outstanding AutoFem variety. An exception-al Dutch Passion Isis clone, a premium Sativa with a first class “high”, was carefully hybridised by Joint Doctor with one of his best Indica dominant automatics. The result is a very potent Au-toFem variety. The first part of the name refers to the outstanding quality and performance, a real Star. The second part of the name refers to the Joint Doctor, the autoflowering pioneer and producer of the original LowRyder.

StarRyder grows like a compact Christmas tree, producing large resinous buds, growing to around 50cm tall and yielding 45 to 100 grams to the average grower. Experienced AutoFem growers can yield over 100 grams per plant growing in soil or coco. Yields of over 200 grams per plant are possible with hydro methods such as DWC (Deep Water Culture) in the hands of the very best grow-ers who will be able to grow plants around 1m tall. The THC con-tent is around 15 to 19% which is special for an AutoFem variety. The “high” is described as powerful and fast hitting. The taste is smooth and sweet.

Dutch Passion are pleased to announce a new partnership with DinaFem seeds of Spain. DinaFem were formed 8 years ago by some of Spain’s best breeders. They brought together a selection of top quality genetics and combined this with a good reputation for thorough and professional breeding with a focus on high quality results rather than lowest price seeds.

DinaFems reputation for AutoFem’s is especially good and they were a natural partner for Dutch Passion who share their quality-focussed approach. Working with DinaFem has allowed Dutch Passion to work with a very well resourced and organised team. It is a partnership built on a solid foundation of talented and com-mitted cannabis professionals looking to create the best genetics for the home-grower.

AutoXtreme is the exceptional result of a 2 year collaboration between Dutch Passion and DinaFem using some special Haze genetics from Dutch Passion. The project took a lot a careful growing and selection before we were prepared to approve it. The genetics are based on our OutLaw® (Amnesia x Super Haze) pho-toperiod variety and have been adapted into an AutoFem which delivers a powerful sativa Haze influence alongside very generous yields. This variety is exclusively available from Dutch Passion.

AutoXtreme is harvested around 85 days after germination. This is a little longer than other AutoFems, but with this variety the extra time was needed to give the best combination of potency, taste and crop size. As a result the plants may be a little larger than usual, up to 1.5m tall. This is a new AutoFem and one which will be very hard to beat.

AutoBlueberry has quickly become the connoisseur choice of AutoFem. It combines authentic Blueberry aroma and flavour thanks to a careful breeding program which crossed a very spe-cial Blueberry female with an indica dominant auto. Selective back-crossing until the F4 generation gave a fully automatic Blue-berry, the F4 was self-pollinated to create the F5 seeds which have become a must-grow variety for anyone looking for a luxuri-ous genuine Blueberry experience in a fast AutoFem form.

Most plants have the famous Blueberry flavours and colours; she will yield very well with dense solid buds that are soaked with resin and are very potent. AutoBlueberry gives a smooth, hugely enjoyable yet powerful Indica effect which lasts several hours. Everyone should try growing this variety at least once!

AutoBlueberry® 16

Taiga #2 builds on the success and reputation of our original Taiga AutoFem. Taiga#2 still uses Dutch Passion Power Plant genetics in an AutoFem form. She grows with very solid compact buds and creates a lot of resin, some growers claim that Taiga is Dutch Pas-sion’s most potent AutoFem and she delivers a very powerful and long-lasting stone that is great for creativity and growers looking for a high quality experience with reliably good yields. Taiga#2 grows a dominant main bloom surrounded by a ring of shorter, but equally solid colas. She develops quickly and is an easy plant to care for; robust and satisfying to grow. She normally stays below 100cm and numerous growers report crops of 100g+ per plant. A very easy-growing and reliable AutoFem with a par-ticularly good reputation for the strength of cannabis it produces.

Tundra#2 is an upgraded version of our original Tundra. She is a 10-11 week automatic edition of our famous outdoor champion Passion#1 and has been improved in the important areas of plant consistency, yields and strength. Tundra#2 is a highly resinous variety which grows with very heavy levels of bud production. She smokes with some soft citrus flavours and delivers a solid and highly-rated stone. Growers report the sticky resin smells strongly of orange juice and has an appealing flavour.

Tundra#2 developed a reputation for a reliably consistent produc-er of very frosty nuggets that taste great and have great potency. With thousands of highly satisfied users already don’t leave it too long before you test these great quality genetics for yourself.

The new and improved PolarLight#3 was created using a sativa-dominant auto together with a carefully selected and very strong Dutch Haze. PolarLight #3 has become popular with those grow-ers that like a trippy and strong sativa which can be grown in just 2½ months from seed. She is also popular with medical growers who give good feedback and appreciate the high CBD content in this variety.

Indoors she can grow up to 150cm with hydroponic systems and she will yield around 100g of great quality buds for new growers. Experienced growers report yields of up to 200g of dry pot per plant. PolarLight #3 gives a sweet fruity citrus taste and spicy Haze flavours. She grows strongly and is resistant to mould, spi-der-mites and other diseases. A great combination of taste, yield, potency and ease-of-grow.

SnowStorm #2 was developed with our most prized Orange Bud female – a hugely powerful original Skunk line which has been professionally developed into one of the top AutoFem varieties. SnowStorm #2 can reach 1m+ in hydroponic systems though for most growers she stays under 100cm.

The main central bloom can grow large and heavy with resin. Around this are ten or more shorter blooms which also get very heavy with swollen buds. Experienced auto growers achieve around 125-150g of dry bud per plant, the cannabis produced from SnowStorm#2 is tasty and strong. Resin production is good and the buds sparkle with a white frosty (snow) coating at har-vest, which is how the variety was named. Lovers of Skunk and Orange Bud should try SnowStorm#2, she comes with the best genetics and is a pleasure to grow. Recommended.

Jorge’s Diamond is a unique resin-packed Indica-dominant strain that is potent, sweet, flavorful and incredibly smooth smoking. The rare Indica-dominant genes are mixed with just the right amount of Sativa to give the smoke a very strong soaring long-lasting high. The exceptional taste and aroma are fruity and sweet. The insa-tiable taste is sweet and similar to wild honey smothered in rasp-berries. The strain is almost maintenance free, also spider mites and other pests know to leave Jorge’s Diamonds #1 alone. Dark Delight has been a winner since she was introduced in 2012. Many regular customers have said this is one of the strongest indica-dominant in the Dutch Passion collection. Dark Delight has been a revelation and has developed a following of repeat grow-ers who love the genuinely narcotic and occasionally psychedeli-cally strong weed.

Dark Delight has great hashy flavours and the aroma will remind older growers of the best 1980’s hash. Yields are good and many growers report she can be cropped after 8 weeks of flower. The high is strong, racy and intense – it won’t suit those looking for a soft daytime smoke or those used to a milder smoking experi-ence. But for those growers looking for something new, Dark Delight offers a combination of great flavours and very strong cannabis which blooms quickly and in good quantities. Highly recommended.

Night Queen is a pure and unhybridised Afghani Indica first seen in the 1980’s and now making a re-appearance in the Dutch Pas-sion collection. She grows in a compact and bushy form and produces long and dense blooms of very heavy hitting indica bud. The harvest is special old-school Afghani weed, sticky resin coats the blooms with citrus flavours and spicy scents.

This is very strong, just a small joint was enough for some of our test team. Night Queen can be used sparingly yet still be very ef-fective so your harvest will go a long way. Users report a powerful body stone, a really potent indica-style buzz. The effect is very pleasant and relaxing, some users report it helps them sleep. A real treat for those looking for a good old-fashioned heavy hitting variety that is easy to grow and not at all demanding in the grow room.

In 2012 Dutch Passion began working with the CBD Crew to pro-duce a range of feminized cannabis seeds which produce plants rich in the cannabinoid CBD. A variety with over 4% CBD is re-garded as CBD rich.

Traditionally cannabis has THC levels of 12-21% and CBD levels of 0.1% to 0.3%. However some varieties have now been culti-vated with much higher CBD levels.

CBD has a number of important properties, it can help with relax-ation and nausea, reduce anxiety and improve sleep. CBD variet-ies may allow users to medicate themselves yet still think clearly and function well.

For recreational users, the new CBD varieties may be a less in-tense but equally pleasurable alternative to traditional varieties.

CBD Skunk Haze comes from a project between Dutch Passion and CBD Crew. The goal was to achieve an optimum ratio of 1:1 THC:CBD. For medical use low %THC is preferred for some medi-cal patients who want a relaxing and high quality genuine cannabis effect without the intensity that some high THC varieties give. Rec-reational users find that high CBD levels give a very comfortable and smooth high without anxiety or paranoia. CBD Skunk Haze contains 5% THC and 5% CBD. To create this variety our Haze/Skunk (winner of the 1992 High Times Cannabis Cup) was care-fully crossed with a high CBD variety.

CBD Skunk Haze produces large tall plants. This Sativa/Indica cross (50/50) produces large buds which are not too dense. The aroma and taste are of spicy cedar wood alongside tones of cit-rus, pine and mint. CBD Skunk Haze grows well Indoors and in a greenhouse. The flowering period is approximately 10 weeks and yields up to 450 grams/m2 are possible under ideal conditions.

We consider Ortega Indica a medicinal cannabis variety. Ortega Indica is a hybrid of Northern Lights #1 and another strong Indi-ca, both dating back to the late seventies. Extremely penetrating odour/aroma: earthy, spicy and tobacco. Our seven-person test team reported that Ortega Indica is a good variety to smoke be-fore going to sleep, a feature present in all Indica strains, but more extreme in Ortega Indica. It works as an effective sleeping pill and tranquilizer. Ortega Indica is special in that it’s “stone/high” does not have a cloudy “morning after effect”. In other words, the morn-ing after smoking Ortega Indica, almost no cannabis effects are experienced anymore. Smoke Ortega Indica and wake up with a clear mind. This is seldom the experience after taking sleeping pills or tranquilizers. Ortega Indica plants stay small (dwarf-like) and compact and are quite homogenous. The stoned/high is me-dium strong. Best results indoor and also greenhouses in temper-ate climates. Compact buds, medium yielder.

A very productive plant of high value as a medicinal herb. Bred for its euphoric, anti-anxiety high, this mostly sativa (approx. 75% Sativa 25% Indica) produces a comfortable and enjoyable, yet powerful, experience. The plants have long branches, making this beauty a great plant for “sea of green” gardens. It’s a very consis-tent Purple variety. The quality is in the experience, not so much in the yield, which is average.

This is an upgraded selection of our valued former Afghan/Skunk. We improved the variety in 1997. The taste is softer than before and we managed to improve on yield. The Afghani (Mazar-i-Shar-iff) part is a very short Christmas tree-like plant, 100% Indica and very resinous. The F1-cross with Skunk#1 gives the variety a big-ger yield and better taste. Very good “up” high. As both parents are very consistent, the offspring is very consistent too. Mazar: 1st prize Best Indica, Tipo Forte, Bologna 2008, 2nd prize HTCC 1999, 2nd prize High Life Cup 2002.

Freddy was one of Dutch Passions original ‘Masters At Work’, he is now retired but his legacy lives on. Freddy’s Best was his last variety and it is one for the sativa fans. It combines Chocolope, Dutch Haze and other sativa/Haze genetics into a very power-ful variety noted for hard, dense buds that are produced in good quantities.

Freddy’s Best gives you a rich and fresh smoke with an intensely strong high which takes a few minutes to really be felt. And then the experience begins! The high will last a long time and will seem to increase in strength as time continues. This is a genuine con-noisseur stash and a fitting tribute to a great breeder.

Through careful breeding we have created one of our most im-portant strains, we call it “The Ultimate” as it combines some of the heaviest yields we have ever seen with genuine connoisseur quality. It grows to a height of 60-75cm, ideal for the indoor grow room. Flowering time is 8-10 weeks, with explosive bud growth in the last 2 weeks. The Ultimate (50% Indica, 50% Sativa) will take plenty of nutrients during the growth cycle and is resistant to moulds and bud rot making it a good greenhouse choice too. Our growers have never seen a plant yield as heavily with this level of quality. The Ultimate is very suited for taking cuttings. This is a recession busting strain of epic proportions and is guaranteed not to disappoint. This strain is already setting new standards amongst the Dutch commercial growers and is set to become a Dutch Passion legend.

Californian Orange is a 50% Indica / 50% old-school Sativa clas-sic hybrid from the 70’s and is only available from Dutch Pas-sion. This variety is loved for the clear ‘up’ high, very social and very special. Smoke too much and the stone becomes heavier though the quality is not diminished. Californian Orange gives reasonable yields around 400gram/m² and the plants reach 1.2-2m tall. Some of the plants have a strong citrus aroma and all of them have notable resin production even on the leaves. This is a potent, high quality strain which retains a strong appeal today despite all the exciting new strains that are appearing. Californian Orange dates back to the hippy era but the reliable production of top quality weed means this is still a sought-after variety today.

Blueberry (1st prize HTCC 2000, 3rd prize HTCC 2001) and Ma-zar (2nd prize HTCC 1999, 2nd prize High Life Cup 2002) are the two unbeatable Indicas in our seed collection. Skywalker is a hybrid product of a Mazar female and a Blueberry male. The inten-tion was to create one of the best Indicas in the world. The special Blueberry taste and aroma are combined in this hybrid with the vigor and yield of Mazar. Blueberry characteristics such as “curl-ing leaves”, slow initial growth, and bluish hues have disappeared in this hybrid, while taste, aroma (fruity and fresh), and the quality of the “high” are retained. Grown from clones at “Sea of Green”, these seeds will yield about 400 gr./m2 under optimum conditions.

The Blue Family (Blueberry and Skywalker), has been succesfully introduced to the market by Dutch Passion in recent years. A suc-cessful and old traditional group of varieties, for Europe however a new genetic line. These varieties gave a fresh breeze to the somewhat “dusty” Dutch Gene Pool, consisting mainly of crosses between Skunk, Northern Lights and Haze. The genetics of “The Blue Family” are basically made up from an Oaxacan (legendary Mexican Sativa), a Thai and an Indica strain. Through years of selection the specific genetic profile of the different varieties were sharpened and at the same time stabilized. All members of the Blue Family show blue, and red to lila shades on their calyxes, leaves and stems, depending on the temperature at flowering time. The colder, the more colour. So, grown outdoors (Southern Europe) this phenomenon is a lot clearer than when grown in-doors. The leaves of the Blue Family strains might show white spots and stripes. This does not slow down growth. It is sort spe-cific of these strains. In the first three weeks of flowering the Blue Family strains grow slower compaired to other strains. After the third week of flowering they will catch up and give a beautiful har-vest.

Blueberry®

Dutch Passion Blueberry is the original, a famously classy and enjoyable cannabis combined with fruity flavours and blue colou-rations in the leaves and buds. The genetics are 80% Indica/20% Sativa and date back to the 1970’s. Repeat growers of Blueberry often like to germinate a number of seeds to find a special mother plant, she is easy to take cuttings from and you will never get tired of top quality Blueberry bud. Although she yields well under ideal conditions she is grown primarily by those growers looking for that special, relaxing and refined Blueberry high.

She may not be the easiest variety for the newer grower, and can be a fussy feeder, but she will repay the experienced grower with harvests of perhaps one of the best cannabis varieties available. Still a coffeeshop favourite decades after she was introduced.

Dutch Passion customers have always craved a 100% Haze strain together with reduced flowering times and respectable yields. Over many years we have bred literally hundreds of Haze plants from both USA and Dutch genetics looking for this unique Haze. Then, in 2009, we had a major breakthrough! The result is Dutch Haze, the flowering time is an incredible 9-11 weeks for a classy ‘up-high’ and true Haze experience. All Haze fans should try our Dutch Haze, the yields are generous and it grows with a rich abun-dance of sparkling THC covered flowers that have the true Haze aroma. Plants grow tall, 80cm - 120cm. Dutch Haze is a rare find, the result of extensive breeding. The strain has good mould and spider mite resistance, it is 90% Sativa/10% Indica. However the Indica parentage affects only the flowering and yield characteris-tics. The smoke, as you will find out, is 100% pure Haze. Dutch Haze – prepare to be amazed.

For the creation of Dutch Cheese ( 60% Sativa, 40% Indica) our breeders took the best cheese genetics and crossed them with various other strains. We were looking for the ‘perfect match’, where two stable strains can be crossed to give a new variety that improves on both of the parents. The ideal genetics to improve Cheese eventually came from our “Euforia” - a potent Skunk se-lection and a personal favorite of some of the Dutch Passion team. The crossbreeding with Euforia has not compromised the cheesy qualities at all. But it has given improved potency and significant yield improvements, growing to a height of 60-80cm with lots of sticky side buds that show some internodal spacing that will help prevent bud rot/mould – an important feature for a heavy-yielding variety. This strain is for indoor/greenhouse.

Do you become an outlaw for growing and enjoying marijuana? We carefully selected original Haze seeds from our 30 year old seedbank to create this variety. She is 80/20 sativa/indica with 15%-20% THC and is a cross of our Super Haze with a very spe-cial clone of Amnesia. The high is powerful and fast with a clear uplifting sativa high and a strong Haze accent. The taste is fresh, sour, strong and old-school Hazey. OutLaw will stretch more than most, perhaps 50cm after switching to flower, and grows well with the SCROG method.

Although she can be harvested as early as 9 weeks, a full 12 week flower period may be required for best taste, yield and high. She grows well in all grow mediums with perhaps the best yields in hydro where yields of up to 500g/m2 are possible, classifying this as a high production variety.

Euforia is a high yielding Skunk selection developed in 1996. She is a stable, strong strain that reliably produces bumper harvests of 400-600grams/m² and clones easily making her an excellent mother plant. Euforia will grow well outdoors in warm climates and is well suited to greenhouses. Outdoor/greenhouse harvesting is typically towards end October/start November. Indoors Euphoria takes 7-8 weeks. Plants reach 1-1.5m tall and give a fresh smell-ing ganja which tastes rich and skunky though not too sweet. A favourite with Dutch Passion staff, Euforia produces a euphoric high which is good for both pain relief and stress relief. THC levels are a high 18% making this a heavy yielding reliable producer of great quality stash. A good remedy for relieving the stress of modern society. This is a special skunk beauty from the 1990’s that you will love.

Ultra Skunk is the product of our 1999 Skunk project, breeding, and then cross breeding the best Skunk strains from proven Dutch and Swiss genetics. Our leading Skunk specialist selected a variety that combined the thickest buds whilst retaining the best skunk qualities and potency. The genetics have a hint of a lead-ing Indica strain, this gives some leaves in the buds but also adds strength and consistently heavy yields to this top Skunk variety. The genetics are 40% Indica / 60% Sativa, the result is one of the best Skunk strains ever created and is extremely consistent. It grows to a height of 60-80cm indoors with a flowering time is 8-9 weeks with good mould and spider mite resistance. Ultra Skunk is stocky and oily, bursting with crystals and heavy buds. This acclaimed new addition to the Dutch Passion family is a particularly potent Indoor strain with an incredible soaring sativa high, using pure genetics directly from the Laos/Vietnam jungle area. The main features of this special strain are the incredible ‘happy and smiley’ sativa stone and the high yields associated with the huge growth potential. Our smoke test team gave this a top-class rating, an old school ‘retro’ high with a great herbal taste. We bravely extracted this sturdy plant back from the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan, it is a compact and forgiving variety that grows well in any medium such as soil, hydro, coco etc. Master Kush produces an extremely potent smoke that is smooth and sweet with earthy/citrus flavours, the high is strong and powerful. Less odour than normal is produced during flowering (important for some growers). Buds are large, heavy and pale green with long hairs that range from white to orange/brown. Master Kush is resistant to spidermite but can be susceptible to mould in humid conditions due to the sheer size and density of the bud growth. Master Kush thrives under most growing conditions; it clones easily and is a reliably generous producer of very high quality pot. A favourite of ours, we highly recommend it to you.

The genetics of Brainstorm were introduced in our seedcollec-tion in 1996. The strain has been updated for the second time in 2006 by selecting a premium clone from the original seed stock. Through this premium clone the “Brainstorm” feminized seedline is produced. Brainstorm is a sturdy plant with the power and yield of the famous Northern Lights #5, hybridized with potent 100% Haze genetics. Brainstorm has a solid, strong long lasting “high”, combined with a well balanced, soft smoking experience. Good for bumper harvests. A perfect variety to select clones from.

Power Plant (mostly Sativa) was developed by us in 1997 from new South African genetics. This strain has been inbred only, never hybridised. Very rich in THC. It is a strain with an enormous grow potential. Indoor as well as in a greenhouse the plants have an enormous yield. Indoors flowering starts already one week af-ter turning back the light cycle to 12 hours. Outdoor, flowering starts late, but the plants ripen very fast. This variety is very uni-form. Strong “up high”, very soft smoke.

Non-feminized (’regular’) seed accounts for less than 3% of Dutch Passion sales, yet we have around a third of our varieties available in it. We do this as a service to the growing community even though very few of our customers buy them.

Dutch Passion has always supported those growers that like to grow male plants to create their own seeds and breed their own varieties. Regular seed results in around 50% male plants. Although the bulk of Dutch Passion customers are simply self-sufficient recre- ational/medi-cal growers we will always remain committed to those that like to breed their own crosses.

This superb and long-awaited cross of two of our most respected varieties delivers great yields of very strong, highly resinous, buds. We offer this variety only in regular seeds; she will be popular with new growers, old-school connoisseurs and home-breeders looking for a reliably potent variety which is easy and robust to grow. For many years we have had repeat requests for a White Widow cross, she is one of the original iconic breeds and the strongest indica-dominant in our collec-tion. The Ultimate is perhaps our heaviest yielder, but also very powerful. A male White Widow and female ‘Ultimate’ were put together to produce this mixed in-dica/sativa. The high is strong and intense yet allows you to remain active. The plants are very oily with a noticeable Haze taste together with earthy/citrus flavours which are twisted together with pine. She grows up to 1.5m tall with very good yields and does well in all mediums with the best results in DWC (deep water culture). Plants can be harvested as early as 8 weeks but some will prefer to wait 10 weeks for full bud production and ripeness.
