The coating

Even the most modern production methods can’t prevent conventional shower screens from develop-ing microscopic dimples, pores and scratches. Con-stant moisture causes the surface to take on a dull sheen. The result: limescale and dirt particles build up and settle permanently, the glass becomes un-sightly over time and loses its natural shine.

Processing guidelineThe coating can be applied to any base float glass; float glass (EUROFLOAT) and extra clear glass (EUROWHITE NG). It affect the photometric properties of the base glass slightly.

The finished glass can be used to produce heat-strengthened glass, tempered safety glass (also heat-soaked), laminated safety glass, bent glass, screen-printed glass and insulating glass combinations with thermal insulation coatings. Boreholes and edging are also no problem.
