The power of Dura-Pulse® technology relies on a unique blend of polymers and reactive chemistry to achieve enhanced material properties. This brand new formulation of NBR (acrylonitrile butadiene rubber) features both the superior heat stability of peroxide-cured rubber and the outstanding flexibility of sulfur-cured rubber.

Excellence under pressureBoth spiral and two-wire braided hoses created with Dura-Pulse® technology exhibit superior pressure and heat resistance. The Aeroquip® EC600 X-Flex® spiral hose uses Dura-Pulse® technology to offer operating pressures up to 420 bar and temperatures up to 121°C, while the Aeroquip® Dynamax® EC881 two-wire braid hose handles pressures up to 450 bar and max temperatures of 126°C.

Take the easy routeHoses with Dura-Pulse® inner tubing are more flexible than others in their class, boasting a superior 1/3 SAE bend radius for EC881 hoses. Engineers requiring the higher operating pressures that spiral hoses traditionally deliver often had to sacrifice flexibility. Now, our lighter-weight EC881 two-wire braided hose provides the flexibility needed for more direct routing while offering operating pressures up to 450 bar, making installs faster, easier, and more cost-efficient. In addition, overall machine weight is reduced for improved fuel efficiency.
