“ E nhance to Advance ” Grand Ceremony 2012 “

Dukhan Toastmasters Annual Grand Ceremony was held on Monday 2nd July 2012 at Jinnan Recreation Center Black Gold Hall. The event was witnessed by an overwhelming audience including Gaveliers & parents. Mr. Abdulla Jaber was the Chief Guest for the day who represent Manager Integrated Facilities Department. DTM Manzoor Moideen, Division-E Governor, Mr Phill Lowen, CEO of The Cuban Hospital, Mr. Derek Jones, Headmaster of Dukhan English School were the Guests of Honor. Immediate Past President Nasimudheen A Hameed welcomed the audience. Master of Ceremonies TM. Sreelaksmi introduce theme of the day “Enhance to Advance” DTM Sundaresan Rajeswar delivered a Keynote speech on topic “Remaining Relevant”. DTM Ram Mohan Rai spoke on “Voice, Vocabulary, & Language, the three pillars of oral communication”. Past Presidents TM Mark Pilling and TM Koka Prasad attended the function. President Elect TM Salaud-din presented club plan during his acceptance speech.

Area 51 Governor TM M Asraf Siddiqui formally installed the newly elected officers of Dukhan Toastmasters for term 2012-2013. The new committee consists of: TM Mohammad Salauddin CC,CL - President, TM Luis Peres CC,CL - VP Edu-cation, TM Anil Malik CC,CL - VP Membership, TM Risman Hatibi CC,CL - VP Public Relations, TM KVSS Raju - Treasurer, TM Sreedevi Kiran CC,CL — Secretary, M Sheik Abdul Kadir - Sergeant at Arms, and TM Nasimudheen - Immediate Past President. Dukhan Gavels presented a Humorous Skit. Mr Phill Lowen CEO Cuban Hospital addressed audience.
