On 08th February 2012, the Dukhan Toastmasters marched victori-

ously to mark their 100th Meeting “Centurion Celebrate” in all pomp

and splendor and an overwhelming audience at the Black Gold Hall of

Jinnan Recreation Club at Dukhan. The members looked like a battal-

ion at war front who just won a war with fear. Each of them had a Mon-

alisa smile in a corner of their lips which itself painted a picture of suc-

cess.

Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Mohammed Al-Baker, Head of Com-

munity Support & Business Relation who represent Operations Man-

ager, Qatar Petroleum Dukhan Fields. Guest of Honour was Mr. Mohammed Nasiruddin - The Counselor of

Bangladesh Embassy. Other distinguished guests were Mr. Patrick Choueri - Business & Community Rela-

tions Coordinator, Mr. Derek Andrew Jones , Headmaster Dukhan English School, Adrian Macaulay, Dep-

uty Head Academics , Dukhan English school and Mr. Hussain Ali Al-Qahtani - Community Relations Offi-

cer. Dukhan Toastmasters President Nasimudheen A. Hameed Welcomed distinguished guests and

briefed about the successful story of Dukhan Toastmasters. Distinguished Guests from Toastmasters frater-

nity were TM B Krishna Kumar – Division E Governor, TM Eswaran Natrajan, Area-28 Governor and TM

Sameer Hassan Moosa, the Chief Coordinator of the Event and Area-18 Governor .

Sgt@Arms TM Pareeduddin beat the doldrums to call the meeting to order and President TM Nasimudheen

gave the call for the day, inviting all to this auspicious victory. Comparers for the evening TM Sreelakshmi

Hareesh & TM Gauri Patil lead the day.

Toastmasters outshined the success of the

evening and it was released by the Chief

Guest Mr. Al-Baker . TM Mustufa the vision-

ary of the logo explained the advent of the

logo in short.

Gavellier put stars into the show through a

beautiful little humorous skit scripted by Gav-

elier Megan Roche and enacted by a won-

derful team of children. It was rocking per-

formance.

Community” Award presented to Mr Mo-

hamed Eid Al Hajiri, President of JRC on

behalf of the JRC Managing Committee.

JRC is conducting many useful training to

children & adults at Dukhan Community

In Dukhan Following awards were presented during the ceremony. Competent Communicators - TM Arul Fernandez and

TM PP Hussain, Advance Communicators Bronze, TM Sebastian Mascarenhas and Advance Communicator

Gold, TM Sameer Hassan Moosa. Competent Leader award presented to TM Mohd. Salauddin, TM Meenak-

shi Ravi, TM Sreedevi Kiran Kumar, TM Risman Hatibi, TM Luis Peres and TM Mark Pilling. The winners TM

Anil Malik, TM Abdul Khader M.I & TM Luis Peres and runner-ups TM Sebastian M, TM Nasimudheen and TM

Mohd. Ismayil of various club contests conducted during January and February for Toastmasters were pre-

sented with trophies and certificates. Special Achievement Awards for the night were “Creative Genius” Award

to TM Mustufa Sange for Logo creation & Newsletter editorial activities. Toastmasters Membership Award to

TM Syed Raziulla , Best Cadet Award to TM Pareeduddin M for the Best Sergeant at Arms. Gavel Contest Win-

ners were also presented with trophies and certificates International Speech contest winner-Gavelier- Narsim-

han Ravi, Runner up: Gavelier-Sahiti Kotala, 2nd Runner up:- Gavelier- Chinchu Joseph, Table topics Speech

contest Winner: Gavelier -Megan Roche, Runner up: Gavelier- Sahiti Kotala, 2nd Runner up: Gavelier- Huda

Communiqué was released at the hands of the Chief Guest, Mr.

Al-Baker. Mr Patrick, Mr. Derek, Division Governor K Krishnaku-

mar, Hussain Al -Qahtani with organizers

The final cherry on the icing of the cake was

a candle light dinner for all attendees with

live music by Mr. Budi Sulistyo Wahono from

Qatar Petroleum on Saxophone and Mr. Ro-

sariyo from QAFAC, Mesaieed on Guitar.

President Nasimudheen A.Hameed thanked

the Chief Guests, Guest of Honor and all

those present there and all who worked be-

hind the success of the event.

The Club represented its unity towards rebranding by Toastmas-

ters international through a banner change ceremony and the

Chief Coordinator gave a brief regarding the TMI rebranding.
