* the pratice walk on this itinerary is a 10km navigation pratice to familiarize par-ticipants with the maps and terrain. Itineraries with full overnight Practice Journey specifications are also possible.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?All of our Cyprus Silver packages offer the following:

• Basic training in maps, compasses, risk awareness and emergency procedures

• Expert supervisors and Assessors with years of experience in the expe-dition area

• Basic camping gear including tents (2 or 3 person), Trangia stoves with gas adapters and fuel, camping mats

• 4x4 vehicle for accompanying teachers/chaperones

• Hotel accommodation and meals for non-hiking days

• The option to purchase: first-aid kits, sleeping bags, reuseable water bottles, and any other outdoor gear your group might need

As a teacher this trip has been absolutely fabulous. I think this must be one of the

easiest school trips I’ve actually been on, just because there’s been no pressure on us to have to DO anything. If I ever got the oppor-tunity to run the Award at another school I

would definitely, absolutely be using the Youth Development Agency team.
