Delhi Transco Limiteds Recruitment for Asstt.Manager(Tech.) andAsstt.Manager(Civil) through GATE 2012 Examination

Delhi Transco Limited (DTL) is a Power Transmission Company of Govt. of NCT of

Delhi, entrusted with the task of smooth transmission of electricity to differentparts of Delhi for further distribution by the Distribution Companies.

DTL invites applications for the positions of Asstt. Manager (Tech.) andAsstt.Manager(Civil), in the Pay Band of Rs.19,000-39,100/-, Grade pay ofRs.5400/-, from the candidates, who had appeared in the GATE-2012Examination. Total emoluments on joining in the above pay band would beRs.62,000/- per month approximately. Other facilities likeLTC/Accommodation/Electricity Concession/EPF/Medical and Telephone/Mobileetc. will be admissible as per Rules of the Company.

1) Asstt.Manager(Tech.)

Our present requirement is for 48 posts, discipline-wise break-up is asunder:-

- Electrical Engineering = 38 posts- Non-Electrical Engg. (Electronics & Comm.

Engg./IT/Computer Engg.) = 10 posts

Reservation position

: Unreserved = 26, SC=05, ST=07, OBC=10

Eligibility Criteria : Selection shall be made on the basis of merit obtained bythe candidate, who had appeared in the GATE-2012 Examination and possessingthe following educational qualifications :-

(1) Degree in Electrical Engg. from a recognized University or equivalent;(2) Degree in Electronics & Communication Engg./IT/Computer Engg. from a

recognized University or equivalent.

2) Asstt.Manager(Civil)

Our present requirement is for 02 posts.

: Unreserved = 01, OBC=01

Eligibility Criteria : Selection shall be made on the basis of merit obtained bythe candidate, who had appeared in the GATE-2012 Examination and possessingthe following educational qualifications :-

Essential

: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University orequivalent.

Desirable : Two years experience in design and construction of reinforcedconcrete structures, heavy machine foundations and masonry structures.

Age Limit : Not exceeding 28 years (Relaxable upto 5 years for Govt. servantsand for SC/ST & OBC candidates as per Rules of Govt. of India).

The crucial date of eligibility shall be determined as on 28.02.2013 and thecandidate must have passed the Degree examination in respective discipline wellbefore this date.

Probation Period

: Selected candidates shall be appointed on probation for aperiod of one year.
