Trainings Undertaken

Undergone a one month training on Turbo Generator from BHEL Haridwar. Under this month I used to learn about the salient features ,construction and working principle of turbo-generator.Turbo -generator is a turbine that is directly connected to the shaft of generator which helps to convert the mechanical energy in to electrical.Turbo-generator works on the principle of Faraday,s law of electromagnetic induction .

Project Title

Wireless power transmission by using tesla coil with 9v dc source .In this project power is being transferred without the using of wire .this is mainly based on the working principlFaraday’s law of electromagnetic induction. Components used in this are one 22k Resistor, 9v dc source, single Transistor of rating 2N2222A,single LED ,single CFL bulb(6 watt), single switch ,turbo-PVC pipe (8.4 cm of lengh and 2.4 cm of diameter) ,plywood .In this primary and secondary windings are also used in which number of turns in secondary windings is greater than that of the primary side .Number of turns in primary side is 3 and at that of the secondary side is 275. The main thing of this project is that conducting wire is replaced by ionized ions and for conduction air is ionized by high power ultraviolet beam,this beam creates plasma channel in the air which contains free charge carriers which helps to transfer the charges.this wireless power transmission has various advantages such that it reduces the losses of energy during distribution and transmission , it is more efficient than present electrical system and it is easy to manage at the time of natural disaster etc.
