All the large cap sectors showed positive performance today except Telecommunication (-0.66%) and Banks (-0.19%). NBFIs posted the highest gain of 3.65% followed by Power (+0.82%), Pharmaceuticals (+0.59%), Engineering (+0.54%) and Food & Allied (+0.50%). Total turnover stood at BDT 7.0 billion (USD 84.6 million). Monno Ceramic (+4.9%) was the most traded share with a turnover of BDT 252.8 million. index DSES (+0.50%) both closed in green. All the large cap
sectors showed positive performance today except
Telecommunication (-0.66%) and Banks (-0.19%). NBFIs
posted the highest gain of 3.65% followed by Power (+0.82%),
Pharmaceuticals (+0.59%), Engineering (+0.54%) and Food &
Allied (+0.50%). Total turnover stood at BDT 7.0 billion (USD
84.6 million). Monno Ceramic (+4.9%) was the most traded
share with a turnover of BDT 252.8 million.

UNITEDINS Camellia Duncan Foundation, one of the Corporate Directors of the Company, has expressed its inten-tion to sell 2,00,000 shares out of its total holding of 62,91,261 shares of the Company at prevailing market price (in the Public Market) through Stock Exchange (DSE) within next 30 working days. GLAXOSMITH The Company has informed that the Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Mohammed Azizul Huq as the Chairman and Mr. Nakibur Rahman as the Managing Director of the Company, with effect from July 01, 2018. NBL Mr. Moazzam Hossain, one of the Sponsors Directors of the Company has expressed his intention to sell 2,00,00,000 shares out of his total holding of 10,12,13,592 shares whereas Sikder Insurance Com-pany Limited, a Corporate Director of the Company has expressed its intention to buy 2,00,00,000 shares of the Company at prevailing market price (In the Block Market) through Stock Exchange (DSE) within next 30 working days. UNIQUEHRL The Company has informed that the Consortium of Unique Hotel & Resorts Limited, Guayama PR Holdings BV and Strategic Finance Limited received a letter of Intent (LOI) from Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) on June 25, 2018 for the development of Gas/R-LNG based Combined Cycle Power Generation Facility of 584 MW (Net) capacity at Meghnaghat, Narayanganj on Build-Own-Operate (BOO) basis under the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) following the Private Sector Power Generation Policy of Bangladesh for a period of 22 years from the date of commencement of commer-cial operation. The company has decided to give their consent to accept the same. The sponsor and initial shareholding position of the company is Unique Hotel & resorts Limited with 65.01%, Guayama PR Holdings BV with 30% and Strategic Finance Limited with 4.99% shareholding. BANKASIA Mr. Anisur Rahman Sinha, one of the Sponsors of the Company, has expressed his intention to buy 7,00,000 shares of the Company at prevailing market price (In the Block Market) through Stock Ex-change (DSE) within next 30 working days. EXCH Commencement of electronic subscription of VFS Thread Dyeing Limited through electronic subscrip-tion system (ESS) under fixed price method: The subscription for shares of VFS Thread Dyeing Limited by the eligible investors through electronic subscription system (ESS) under fixed price method of the stock exchanges will be started from 10:00 a.m. of June 24, 2018 and continued till 5:30 p.m. of July 02, 2018 (round the clock).
