With the Alpine Coaster 2.0, the latest develop-

ment in the field of toboggan runs from Wie-

gand is now on track. The comfort vehicles are

even larger and offer comfortable space for

two adults, even with ski boots. In addition, the

bodywork of this type can be designed in seve-

ral colours or as multi-colour design.

The trough-shaped summer toboggan run, collo-

quially also called a tub or gutter run, is „the mo-

ther“ of all our toboggan runs and continues to thrill

tobogganing enthusiasts all over the world.

The descent through steep curves, small jumps, cur-

ved and straight segments of the built-in track is like

a fast ride through an ice channel in bobsleigh racing,

with bridges and helixes completing the experience.

Our toboggan runs guarantee riders of all

generations an excellent experience as they

ride in total safety. The well-designed vehic-

les come with two individual seat belts with

safety lock. As with the classic summer to-

boggan run, the guest sets his own speed.

With over 270 systems in more than 40 countries,

our Alpine Coaster is the best-selling toboggan

run type worldwide. The huge realistic transport

capacity of 500 pph plus the all-weather suitabi-

lity of the Wiegand Alpine Coaster generate high

turnover for you as the operator all year round.

The Alpine Coaster 2.0 also features some tech-

nical changes compared to its predecessor; for

example, in addition to the front lighting, a rear

light has now been fitted as standard. The tech-

nology of the brakes has also been changed. The

absolutely wear-free eddy current brake offers a

considerable advantage over other toboggan runs.
