> A Survey of 1,200 driving Americans found that:• 83% believe they are safe drivers.• 59% don’t consider themselves as distracted drivers.• 73% talk on cell phones while driving.• 16% drive below the speed limit.• 48% admit they have driven a certain distance without recalling it.
> The truth is that driving is the single most dangerous thing most of us will do on any given day.

Greater complexity of “old” technologies (radios, sound systems, vehicle displays, etc).
People spending more time in cars.
Cell Phone usage in the US has increased from 34 million to 203 million in the last ten years.
