NORDSCHLEIFE „GRÜNE HÖLLE“

5.14 km of adrenaline-soaked tarmac. The home of the most successful racing series. Apart from the king of motorsports, Formula 1, every year the Nürburgring plays host tonumerous other racing events such as the DTM (German Touring Car Masters), the Super-bike World Championship, the AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix or the ADAC Truck Grand Prix.

For your event, we’ll also open the pit doors and our racetrack which, by the way, meets the highest FIA safety standard. Apart from the overall track, as an additional alternative, you can also book Circuit 2 and Circuit 3 as track sections. RENTAL UPON REQUEST

GRAND-PRIX TRACK

Since it was completed in 1927, this unique track has never ceased to thrill. Overcoming the 20.8 km track means constantly re-evaluating your driving skills and yourself under tough conditions.

An awestruck Jackie Stewart once referred to the Nordschleife as the “Grüne Hölle” and, over the years, it has become a true legend. Once you’ve driven on this track, you’ll never forget it. RENTAL UPON REQUEST

FORMULA RACING

Even faster, even more intensive and even more thrilling. Words can hardly describe our completely new high-tech Formula cars, but the experience is absolutely unique. These racing cars are fitted with carbon/Kevlar monocoques and have a very high standard of safety. Sequential gearboxes, acceleration of 0 to 100 in under 4 seconds, and impressive cornering speeds… Even when they’re not moving, these racing cars bring a smile to participants’ faces.

Starting from a 1 day course on a section of the Grand-Prix track, you can even enjoythis highlight on the Nordschleife.

Motorsport at its most mesmerising! Experience emotional highs with your guests, andgive your business a massive boost. Formula Racing is available either as intensive trainingin a small group of up to 30 people, or as an event module for a larger group of people.

Drive a Formula car yourself. Participants can take their places in these single-seaters, outfitted with racing overalls, helmets with H.A.N.S system and gauntlets. The almost prone seating position allows you to merge with the racing car into a single entity. A Formula racing car lets participants experience driving in its purest form. Ultra-short shifters, and the immediacy of accelerator and brakes promise undiluted driving pleasure.

CO-PILOT

The high point to round off an event or conference at the Nürburgring. At the side of a professional racing driver you can experience the breathtaking combination of speed and vehicle control on the world’s most demanding racetrack. With our highly attractive pool of sports cars, we can also offer this experience at short notice to a large number of guests on the Grand-Prix track.

DYNAMICS TRAINING

Excitement, competition and enthusiasm are the attributes which characterise dynamic training. This programme can be implemented in a team and consists of the following modules:

Race of ChampionsThe Race of Champions is modelled on the famous annual event at which the world’s best racing drivers come together for a direct comparison, measuring their skills in identical vehicles. Two participants at a time drive in parallel on the same circuit. The times are recorded and even the tiniest mistake counts.

Roller CarThe roller car is a passenger vehicle, on the back axis the over-sized „shopping kart wheels“ are mounted instead of tyres. With this original vehicle, the completion of the course is timed.

RACETRACK TRAININGS

There’s nowhere better to reach the limits of driving physics than on a track that meets the FIA Formula 1 safety standard. This training will teach you what the terms “entry”, “apex”, “exit” and “gradual acceleration” mean in real racing terms.

Using a section of the Nürburgring Grand-Prix track, participants will experience an amazing mix that combines driving thrills with learning the basics of racetrack training.

We conduct the training in our own cars (e.g. VW Scirocco, Toyota GT86) which are specially tuned for use on the racetrack and therefore meet the Nürburgring Driving Academy’s high safety standard.

Nordschleife constantly proves that it is a “driver’s track”. Learn with our experts how to master this incomparable challenge in motorsports. You’ll be doing battle with the mostbeautiful and demanding racetrack in the world. TRACKWALK NORDSCHLEIFE

The tarmac is still warm, the scent of petrol fumes still hangs in the air. Take a trackwalkthrough the legendary “Grüne Hölle” accompanied by an experienced racing driver. See the place where the VLN endurance championship and the 24h-race are played out from an entirely new perspective.

Whether you’re a spectator or an active motorsport participant, this gives you a chance to get a really close look at what is by far the world’s most beautiful piece of tarmac. Listen to anecdotes and stories about “the Ring” while you are driven by bus to the various sections of the track.

CATERHAM DRIFT & SLALOM EXPERIENCE

Groups of around 20 participants are taught vehicle control techniques at the Slalom and Drift by four instructors, using Caterham racing cars. Because of their low weight and absence of electronic driving aids, these cars are extremely dynamic, so fun is guaranteed. Participants learn how the vehicle responds to sharp bends, and to braking and accelerating.A cordoned-off practice track ensures that cars and drivers remain unharmed when driving errors are made following spin-outs. This course makes participants more aware of the the limits of driving physics. The competition and team elements aren’t left out either: At the slalom competition, professional timing with a photoelectric barrier at the start and finish lines determines the placement.

Feel like a competitor for an offroad trophy and discover while you perform various driving exercises that there are no obstacles – only challenges.

A day full of offroad adventures, an unforgettable experience!The upgrading of the Nürburgring Offroadpark ensures that it now meets the demanding safety standards of the Nürburgring Driving Academy. A round circuit with parallel lanes and three levels of difficulty guarantees huge offroad fun for both newbies and professionals.

In addition, there are separate areas for 4x4 trials, quads and ATVs. Come and learn the tricks of offroad driving with experienced instructors.

OFFROAD VEHICLE TRAININGS

Discover driving at its most fundamental form – offroad with loads of action and fun. At the same time, after a short briefing from the instructor, you can explore the extensive grounds of the Offroadpark. You’ll be crossing log bridges, and mastering slants, sand and scree, and uphill and downhill slopes. With an expert instructor at your side, you’ll find that even difficult sections will gradually become child’s play. Suzuki offroad vehicles are used for these programmes.

LAND ROVER EXPERIENCE

Inclines, downward slopes, sand, water and mud – take up the challenge and live your very own adventure. Accompanied by the Land Rover Experience instructors in a brand-new Land Rover, you can get a close look at offroad driving, from starter course to expedition training.

Level 1 Land Rover Experience Driving AcademyDuring an exciting, adventure-packed day, you will learn how to drive safely offroad. The basics of 4x4 drive engineering, essential preparation for and actual offroad driving are taught using the Land Rover Driving System. The objective of the day is to prepare you for assessing the risk of and dealing with obstacles offroad both within and outside the Land Rover Experience Centre.

Level 2 Land Rover Experience Driving AcademyThose wishing to attend this course must have successfully completed the Level 1 Experience training. Level 2 delves deeper into the basics learned in Level 1, and expands on them with special driving techniques and procedures. The objective here is to train participants to make practical and well-calculated decisions more more difficult terrain.

KART GRAND PRIX

Race action for your guests. For groups of up to 50 people, we can offer you a customised racing event on the 400 m ring°kartbahn. With our TÜV-certified RIMO SiNUS electro karts, your guests get an opportunity to experience karting up close, and in safety. Our package com prises winners’ trophies inclusive of sparkling wine, catering and/or optional accom-paniment by a motorsport professional who can offer help and advice. Talk to us about “your” event.

Proposed agenda for your event:After a thorough induction by our trained personnel, all participants firstly take part in an 8-minute qualifying round. They are jointly instructed and are familiarised together with the track and the karts. Each individual lap is electronically timed and the best lap times recorded. After the qualification rounds, the participants are split into racing groups of equal standard based on their times. After that, the individual races get under way.
