ABOUT DRISHTEE

• Drishtee is a team of 400 dedicated workers striving to serve our clients who are mainly individual farmers, women and youth in villages and

middle income families in cities.

• We are a service provider to rural India and have built a platform for providing livelihood options for women in villages.

• We are presently disaggregated in 7000 villages of India and split in few social businesses all aggregating profitably to a little over US$ 4M

annually.

OUR LATEST IMPORTANT

PROJECTS

• Drishtee Skill Development Project in partnership with National Skill Development Corporation in Madhya Pradesh(Betul) and Bihar(Munger) from

2015-Present. A major outcome of this project is to increase 37.5% wheat

production for farmers

• The Unnati Swavlamban Project in partnership with BALCO in Chhattisgarh (Korba) to enable and support women SHGs to develop sustainable rural livelihood

through micro-enterprises in 2017-18. Total 180 of such SHG’s have been formed so

far.

• DISHA-Alternative Learning Project in partnership with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation in UP (Mathura) to develop local culture, trades, skills and

values for aspiring students who children who are empowered with tools like

logical, analytical and mathematical thinking. Started in 2018, It is an ongoing

project.

•Region2: Kamrup (Assam) including all Assam

•Region3: Cuttack (Orissa) including Korba and Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh and near by areas.

•Region 4: Amravati (Maharashtra) including Nasik, Nagpur, Mumbai

•Region5: Hubli (Karnataka) including Bengaluru, near by areas

ABOUT THE PLACEMENT

OPPORTUNITY

• We offer an opportunity to partner for re-building the ‘enabling ecosystem’ thro’ an integrated ‘Swavlamban’ (self-reliance) approach. The partnership is offered in the form of a Fellowship

Program aimed at creating a paradigm change in the village sustainability.

• Drishtee is presently offering 2 categories of Fellowships:

• 1) The first is a one year program wherein you would be expected to build and manage a team to initiate Swavlamban program in a district location. This fellowship is named VIDUSHI and the

Fellow is expected to lead a community into sustainability.

• 2) The second Fellowship is a 3 year program and is aimed at developing product value chains in the field of Food, Textile and Housing products. This fellowship goes by the name of VARMANI.

• The Fellowships would provide modest financial stipend (ranging from INR 25,000-40,000 per month) and investment (to cover Fellowship expenses) apart from knowledge, experience &

certification.
