Xenofit competition Xenofit's isotonic carbohydrate-electrolyte drink was especially developed for longer endurance events. For long endurance events over several hours the body's

own carbohydrate reserves (glycogen stores) aren't sufficient to provide enough energy to the muscles being used. During exercise a balanced mixture of blood

sugar-stabilising carbohydrates is necessary to maintain endurance performance.

Xenofit competition doesn't only deliver short-chain, rapidly available sugars such as fructose, glucose and sucrose (mono- and disaccharides) but also the

longer-chain maltodextrin (oligosaccharide), which is the main component.

Xenofit competition ensures rapid absorption of fluids into the blood thanks to its optimised composition of carbohydrates (approx. 78 g/litre) combined with

sodium (700 mg/litre). It also contains a wide spectrum of vitamin B’s as well as the minerals magnesium and vitamin C, necessary for

carbohydrates and energy metabolism.

Xenofit energy barThis carbohydrate bar fulfils the modern demands for a sports bar with an optimised combination of carbohydrates, fat and protein. The Xenofit energy bar fulfils the

recommendation of the DGE (German Association for Nutrition) to cover more than 50% of your energy needs with carbohydrates. An important ingredient of all four

Xenofit carbohydrate gel drink The quick carbohydrate gel drink in five different flavours is ideal for during sports. The practical packaging is easy to open even during competitions. Xenofit carbohydrate gel drink is more liquid than the Xenofit carbohydrate gel and makes it easier to drink quickly without having to drink any water afterwards. The mixture of maltodextrin, dextrose and fructose delivers at least 26 g of short chain and longer chain carbohydrates per portion. Xenofit carbohydrate gel drink also contains additional vitamin C which is important for the metabolism and helps to reduce tiredness. Zinc contributes to a normal acid-based and carbohydrate metabolism. The caffeinated variant, cola, contains 50 mg of caffeine from natural guarana extracts.
