J16daysThe greatest missionary is the Bible in the mother tongue. It never needs a

furlough, and is never considered a foreigner. Cameron Townsend

    Praises

We have moved to alarger and more

    centrally located

    hostel.

    God is buildingbeautiful new

    relationships

    between our family

    and our hostel kids.

Marty is leading adaily Bible study

    group at 6:30am,

    and we are watching

    God work in the lives

    ofour boysthrough it!

Praise be to the name ofGod for ever and ever;wisdom and powerare His.He changes times andseasonsDaniel 2:20-21a NIV

Can it really almost be springtime at

    home in the Carolinas? Our

memories serve us well as we vividly

remember those first warm days of

spring and all the beautiful new

foliage that comes to life with thechange of season. In many ways each

    day in Ukarumpa feels like

springtime. God has gifted our lives

here with flowers and plants that

blow your mind, crisp mornings that

require slippers or socks to keep your

feet comfy, and warm and breezy

    afternoons that whisk away any

thoughts of the once cool morning.

Though we are not experiencing a

change of season from winter to

springtime we are living out our

greatest life changing season ever as

    childrens home parents. We never

could have imagined we would have

eleven children in our care. And to

boot, a son who speaks with a

    Jersey accent, one German son,

one Canadian son, and two PapuaNew Guinean sons! Weare a

blended household for sure. But we

are also a united household. Just as

we give of our time and efforts to

serve these kids so that their parents

    can further Bible translation

    throughout PNG, these kids give

sacrificially as well as they adapt to

what life is like with the Driggers

    while being separated from theirfamilies.

On the front steps before church.

We praise God for in His infinite

wisdom He brought our family to

serve here in PNG at this exact time.

We also praise God for uniting your

family with ours to further Bible

translation in Papua New Guinea, and

allowing us to impact the lives of

such fantastic kids along the way. He

    is forever good!

    Until all have heard,

    Marty, Sara and those girls

We praise God for Martys dirt bike

making it to Ukarumpa! This was a

    Daddy-Jade date ride to the

member store for a soda after

    school.

    Roadside view from the Highlands

Highway (the only highway in the

    highlands!).

Martys hand next to a moth on the

    front screen door.

    Jade outside the screen door.

    Sara proudly holding her PNG

    drivers license papers after five

    previously failed attempts!

We took the hostel family to a

    local village church to worship.

    mud.

    Prayer

Our ministry budgethas been updated for

    2013 and we are in

    need of an additional

    $500 in monthly

    partnerships. Please

    pray for our monthly

    expenses to be

    provided for through

    new or increased

    support.

We remain in debt toour branch for ourshipping fees in excess

    of $4000. Please pray

    for one-time gifts to

    meet this need.

Marty has been battlingalmost continual illness.

    Please pray for his

    complete recovery and

    good health for our

entire family. Please pray for God to

    give endurance and

    strength! We are

    working eighteen hours

a day and seven days a

    week.

    Parenting so manychildren requires

    wisdom beyond our

    measure. Please pray

    that God would speak

    directly to us and we

    would have ears to

    listen to His direction.
