2. ChinaIn the two pictures above, there are 2 long boats (onemodel and one drawing) that Zheng He might have used inthe past. This relates to what we have studied this yearbecause we learned about Zheng He and China in thesecond trimester. 3. ChinaPictured above there is an image of The Great Wall ofChina, which we have not studied this year but interests megreatly. I would like to see The Great Wall of China inperson because of its massive size, and also because it isone of the 7 wonders of the world. 4. FrancePictured here, are wax figuresof Marie Antoinette and herfamily. This site is historicallysignificant because we learnedabout Marie Antoinette thisyear, and this is an interestingthing to see such detailedfigures of people who lived solong ago. 5. FrancePictured above is The Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. We didnot learn about this structure this year but it interests mebecause it is beautiful and because of its intricate design. 6. ItalyPictured here are severalmen with a pile of dead ratsthat had been infected andspreading the horribleBubonic Plague around Italy.We learned about thissubject this year in historyand learned how it was adeadly disease that spreadall around Europe and killedmillions. 7. ItalyAbove is a picture of St. Peters Square in Italy in 1909.We did not learn about St. Peters Square in class but it is aplace that I would want to go because it is beautiful andhas intricate architectural detail. 8. IndiaAbove is a map of The Silk Road, which ran all throughoutIndia and into other countries as well. We learned aboutthis route in class and I thought it was interesting how onetrading route could be so big and have so much to offer. 9. IndiaAbove is a picture of the Taj Mahal in India. I would want tovisit this place because of its beauty, and because of itsstrange design. I think it would be a very neat place to seein person because it is one of the 7 wonders of the world. 10. EnglandTo the right is a picture ofThe Great Exhibition in thecrystal palace in London,England. We studied thisplace in class and I think thatit would be very interestingto see it in person, althoughit burned down in 1936. 11. EnglandHere is a picture of the Big Benclock tower in England.
