Year Two
Theme World of Knowledge
Topic I am Special
Time 60 minutes
Materials script of the story “Little Red Riding Hood”, chair
Learning Standard 4.3.2 Able to take part with guidance in a performance based on:
(c) Stories
Step 1. Teacher explain the rules for the game “Hot Seating”
2. Students read the script of the story “Little Red Riding Hood”
that distributed by the teacher.
3. Students will think of one character from the story without telling
the others what character they are thinking.
4. One student will be chosen by the teacher to come in front and
sit on the chair.
5. The other students can ask questions to chosen students and
that students will answer it using body movement, and
gestures. They are given 5 opportunity to ask question to the
chosen student
6. After finishing all 5 questions, the teacher will asks the other
students what character that particular students is thinking
Year Three

Topic From the Sea
Time 60 minutes
Materials Story “Big Blue Fish and Small Red Fish”, sticks, coloured pencils,
scissors, card, split pin, tape
Learning Standard 4.3.1 Able to produce simple creative work with guidance based on:
(d) stories
Step 1. Teacher distribute the story “Big Blue Fish and Small Red Fish”
to the students and asked them to read the story.
2. Teacher show a puppet to the class.
3. Students will draw the sketch of the character from the story on
to card and cut the sketch.
4. On the remaining card, draw an sketch of a fin and cut it
5. Students will colour the outline and draw on the outline such as
eyes and so on.
6. Attach the fin to the outline of the character using split pin for
moving part.
7. Attach one stick at the back of the puppet and another one on
the fin using sticky tape.
8. Teacher asks students to move the fin using the stick.
Year Three

Topic Pet’s World
Time 60 minutes
Materials Music- sound of animals, speakers
Learning Standard 4.3.2 Able to perform with guidance based on:
(c) action song
Step 1. Teacher explains the rules of “Music freeze”.
2. Teacher plays a part of music and the students will move
according to the music.
3. The students will freeze when the music is stopped.
4. When the teacher says ‘Go’, the students will moved
spontaneously for improvisation, suggested by the position the
students are frozen.
5. The students will stop when the teacher says ‘Stop’. The
student to stop last is out of the game.
6. This will be repeated until only one is standing.
