General Description of WorksSha Ling

(Portions E & E1)

FTA04 covers 0.5km long proposed drain. The outstanding works in Portion E1 are in progress. For Portion E, the trenchless excavation works from MH5 to MH4A was completed and from MH6 to MH7 is in progress (about 45m/80m long so far).

Ma Tso Lung

(Portion B)

MTL01 covers 0.5km long Gabion channel and 2 box culverts. Gabion channel construction work is continued. Around 473m long Gabion walls and 440m/512m long mattress channel bed were installed. Box Culvert No. 1 was cast and construction of Box Culvert No.2 is in progress. About ??m long permanent sheet-piles wall was installed.

Ki Lun Tsuen

(Portion s C, C1 & C2)

NTM04 covers 1km long channel and 6 box culverts. TTA for construction of Box Culvert No. 5 (stage 2) was implemented. About 302m/426m long rectangular and 223m/442m long Grasscrete channels were cast and 228m long is under construction.

Shek Tsai Leng

(Portion G)

KTN03 covers 0.37km long channel and 2 box culverts. The substantial completion certificate dated 4 January 2011 was issued. Outstanding backfilling works, installation of railing and minor works at bank level are on-going.

Ying Pun

(Portion D)

KTS01 & KTSR1 cover 0.75km long rectangular channel and 4 box culverts. Total 481m/540m long rectangular channel was cast and 49m long is under construction. The 900 U-channel and manhole MH7A at KTSR1 were cast. Access Ramp Nos.1 & 2 were cast. Construction of jacking pit at downstream side and temporary steel decking at upstream side of Box Culvert No.2 are in progress.

Chuk Wan Street

In Portion A area, maintenance of the Contractor’s Accommodation and the ERs’ office is continued.
