Council is undertaking a project to prepare a master plan for Bair Street, Leongatha. The plan will guide road and footpath improvements, new landscaping, street furniture and other upgrades to revitalise the town. This work takes advantage of the planned construction of the Leongatha Heavy Vehicle Alternate Route which will divert most heavy vehicle traffic away from Bair Street. A draft master plan has been prepared, drawing on ideas from the public and technical analysis.
