Cornfield Arroyo Seco Specific Plan and Redevelopment Plan Preface

Page xv Arup North America LtdSeptember 2011

Preface This document is a Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) identifying the potentially significant environmental impacts, and required mitigation measures, of Implementing the Cornfield Arroyo Seco Specific Plan and Redevelopment Plan. As presented in the document, the combination of the two plan components are addressed as the Proposed Alternative, which resulted from an extensive community planning process. When the two components are addressed separately, they are referred to as the Specific Plan and the Redevelopment Plan respectively. The geographic footprint where the Proposed Alternative would be implemented is referred to as the Project Area. In certain chapters of the Draft EIR a larger geographic footprint is addressed and in those instances the term study area is used.
