Individual Presentation

Assignment #8

Page 2: Draft 2

I chose Drama because in different drama films there is different themes to it which are very interesting such as alcohol addiction or drug addiction

or sexism also obsession, and these can all be in relation to a romantic drama and the story can be led on from those themes.

WHY I HAVE CHOSEN THIS GENRE.

Page 3: Draft 2

Drama: They portray realistic characters, settings and life situations, they also involve character development and interaction.

CONVENTIONS

In million dollar baby, it shows conventions of a drama because she is determined to be a good boxer, and nobody believes in her. Then she gets hit and she is paralysed, and she wants to commit suicide in hospital. This is like a real life situation as real people can go through the same thing.

5 MAIN IDEAS FOR THE WHOLE FILM

Page 8: Draft 2

The broken mirror and on each piece there is a letter on it written in blood. The letters are all muddled up.

The person pouring alcohol into the cup but without showing the face just the hands and the movement. Also

maybe instead of alcohol we can use the pills and an extreme close up of then putting it into their mouth.
