Area specializations/Research Interest

The broad area of my research is experimental condensed matter physics. Mainly, I am working on dielectric and

electro-optical properties of pure and nanomaterials doped nematic/ferroelectric liquid crystal materials and their

applications. I am also exploring the nonlinear optical properties of liquid crystal and colloidal suspensions. Recently, I

have started liquid crystal’s applications in fabrication of simple and efficient biosensors.
