Household Help Recommendations

Georgia Grant has been my twice a week helper for 1.5 years. She is honest, reliable, conscien-

tious, and has a great sense of humor. As a trained nurses aid, and with a boy of her own, she

would be great with kids, also, loves pets and is willing to take on any task. She has even

stayed at my house and taken excellent care of my dog while I have been on TDYs. She is mar-

ried to one of our security guards and has impeccable credentials. I highly recommend her. Feel

free to contact her directly 876 366-7348 or Alexis 383-8920 for a recommendation.

Maude Bailey has worked for us for three years on a full-time basis to help maintain our house

and to help care for our two small boys. She has worked for Canadian diplomatic and Jamaican

families as a helper and nanny for over 15 years. Maude is kind, caring, honest, patient, and effi-

cient. She fully engages with our boys – plays games, plays outside, reads, and never puts on

the TV. She has been great with toddler milestones such as manners and potty training. She is

punctual, always goes the extra mile, takes direction/guidance on cleaning routines and re-

quests well, and is always willing to be flexible with hours, scheduling, and babysitting requests.

We are happy to recommend her services to another couple or family. Maude would prefer a full-

time, live-out position and is available starting the end of July/early August. Call Sarah for a rec-

ommendation at 862-4854 or call Maude directly at 787-4908.

Live-in helper available. Ms Claudine is available as a live-in helper from mid July. She has

been extraordinarily good, and is extremely kind, considerate and trust worthy. She has been

responsible for cleaning, washing and ironing and as a child minder. She is genuinely brilliant

with the children playing with them and taking them outside to explore (she has never lost her

temper and is incredibly patient). She is also a brilliant cook (she makes incredible meals eve-

ry night and juices), she gets my 3 children ready for school, shops at the local market on

Thursdays and does her very best to go the extra mile. I highly recommend her. She can be

contacted on 7739512 (Lime) or 4216993 (Digicel). Alternatively call me, Anna at the British

High Commission or on 361 1323.

A Sweetheart and Hardworking Nanny/Helper

Ms. Marcia Ellington has been with my family since the birth of my daughter and my family has been very

pleased with her. If my three children did not know any better, they would assume Ms. Marcia was their

grandmother. When seen with my children, visitors and local Jamaicans alike who observed how she cares

for my children, refuse to believe that she isn’t a relative. Admittedly, her compassion for children and

motherly virtue is what drew us to her and my wife and I think she will fit perfectly with any family.

In addition to her mothering nature, Ms. Marcia is reliable, trustworthy and hardworking. She worked full-

time at our home performing various housekeeping duties while taking care of our toddler (since her birth).

Ms. Marcia has great initiative. Often times when she was done with all housekeeping duties, by observa-

tion and situation awareness, she would tackle minor tasks that afforded my wife and I the opportunity to

spend more time with the kids on weekends. Unfortunately, I cannot take back to the states, so I highly

recommend her to any family with or without children. She’s worked with a total of three families through-

out the years and all have consistently given her the same reviews.

To setup an interview with Ms. Marcia Ellington please call her at 451-0949. She has undergone a security

background check and is cleared by RSO for domestic employment.
