DOXA 8 DAYS MANUFACTURELimited Edition
driven by an original DOXA 8 DAYS mechanical caliber movement
In 1907 DOXA was the first Swiss watch company to patent the 8 DAYS caliber movement.
For our 125th Anniversary, we have created the DOXA 8 DAYS MANUFACTURE.
Driven by an original DOXA manufacture movement, this timepiece is a perfect
representative of our heritage and a mechanical piece-of-art. Our specially created
watch is homage to DOXA’s inspired founder, Georges Ducommun.
It is a collector’s watch, a tribute to the precision workmanship of the time.
Many more fascinating details reveal the uniqueness of this jubilee watch:
the “Côtes de Genève” finishing on the watch movement, engraved by hand, 21 stones,
blued screws. The DOXA 8 DAYS MANUFACTURE is available in four different
black or white dial designs. Either open-heart or not, with or without power reserve indicator
or in the black “Pilot” option. The construction of the watch and its movement
are visible thanks to the transparent sapphire crystal case back. The original 8 DAYS
caliber is housed in a stainless steel or a 10 micron rose gold plated case
and fitted with a genuine black or brown alligator leather strap. The watch is presented
in an elegant Chinese black laquer box.
This special edition is limited to 125 pieces.

BLUE PLANET® GMTLimited Edition
Our newest masterpiece in the GrandeMetre series is the DOXA BLUE PLANET.
Its most outstanding element is certainly the mesmerizing dark blue
dial sprinkled with sparkling stars. The fascinating quartz crystal element, aventurine,
recreates the wonders of a beautiful and mysterious night time sky.
A striking surprise is revealed when you turn the watch around: in the light blue
shimmering waters of our oceans, the continents and countries of the world
are delicately engraved on the back of the watch case. Featuring an original and
innovative world time display, this exclusive timepiece is a vivid illustration
of the expansive global vision of DOXA. A blue planet, called Kepler 22-b,
has recently been discovered outside our solar system. And so we link our blue planet,
the earth, to the universe. Our BLUE PLANET is a world-time watch
for forward-looking and global-thinking individuals.
The beauty of this exclusive jubilee timepiece lies in its artistic perfection, the dark blue
aventurine of the dial accentuated by the delicate 18 K rose or yellow gold bezel.
Two outer rings on the dial, one marked with the names of 24 time zones and another
with the markings of 24 hours can be easily adjusted to tell the time anywhere
in the world. Luminescent with a hint of orange, the GMT-hand points to the second
time zone. The automatic mechanical movement is embedded in a 42 mm
solid stainless steel case. A genuine brown alligator leather strap gives the watch
a timeless elegance.
This special edition is limited to 300 pieces.

CALEX AnemoneThe Calex Anemone line shines with its own very special identity.
Precious materials, fine workmanship and artistic design,
create an exquisite watch for the woman of today. Two design elements
stand out: the mother-of-pearl petals and the delicate trim
outlining the blossom. Derived from the Greek, Anemone is “the daughter
of the wind”. According to a legend told us by Ovid,
Venus created the windflower when she sprinkled nectar onto the blood
of her dead lover Adonis. These gentle and colorful perennials
have inspired us to design a feminine watch, reflecting the beauty
of its wearer.
The sensual pattern of the petals blends harmoniously with your choice
of two-colored dials, either in white with white mother-of-pearl,
in white with turquoise mother-of-pearl, in silver with white mother-of-pearl
or in black with white mother-of-pearl. A refined timepiece
with a simple round 35 mm stainless steel case and a discreet bezel
also available with 60 sparkling diamonds. Special lugs
connect the case to a sophisticated white, black or brown leather strap.

Major Milestones During The Past125 Years Of DOXA’s History
Major Milestones During The Past
1964 75th Anniversary of DOXA and publication of the book “19 Juin 1964. Le Locle – Exposition Nationale – Lausanne – Château d’Oron – Le Locle. 1889 – 1964. Doxa Jubilé 75”. DOXA receives the first prize at the National Exhibition in Lausanne, Switzerland, in the category “new line”.
1967 The wrist-watch for divers, DOXA SUB is put on the market. It functions to a depth of 300 meters. It has two important innovations: an orange dial, which improves the readability under water and a rotating bezel to indicate the remaining diving time. The DOXA SUB series is expanded with many models during the following years. Claude Wesly, deep-sea explorer, writes an expert’s report concerning the DOXA SUB 300T. As a result of many challenging experiments, the Center for Research and Dynamic Experimen-tation of Water Tightness issues a certificate.
1969 The model DOXA SUB 600T Conquistador with a helium valve is commer-cialized.
1969 – 79 The DOXA SUB watches become the official watch of the Elite Diving Troops of the Swiss Army.
1997 The Jenny family, active in the watchmaking industry for four generations, purchases DOXA. The headquarters are transferred to Bienne, Switzerland.
2009 120 years since the establishment of DOXA. DOXA designs a special series “Château des Monts” for this occasion and publishes the book “DOXA 1889”.
2009 DOXA participates with the Chronometer SUB 5000T Seaconqueror at the “Concours International de Chronométrie” organized by the watch museum “Musée d’Horlogerie du Locle Château des Monts”.
2012 From April 4 to October 21, 2012, DOXA, together with the watch museum „Château des Monts” in Le Locle, presented an overview of its rich history. It is worth noting that the exhibition took place in the rooms of the manor purchased by Georges Ducommun, a hundred years previously, in 1912.
2014 DOXA is celebrating 125 years of Swiss Made watchmaking excellence.
