LARA MARTIN A SEMI-BIOGRAPHICAL COLLECTION OF SONGS Thank you for allowing me the privilege of taking you on a journey for these next few moments as you listen to this album. In life we all go through seasons of joy, sadness, advance, delay, disappointment, elation and so on. Just like a ‘pearl’ which is created through irritation and years of process, these songs have been born in the same way. These songs take a semi-biographical look at my life and sing of valuable lessons I’ve learned during times of transition and the highs and lows of life. The greatest lesson of all being, that worshipping your way through every season and engaging in true intimacy with God is a key to inner tranquillity. When you are at peace with God, you are at peace with yourself and the world around you. God is always ‘sovereign’ and His ways and His timings are perfect. Collectively I see these songs like a string of pearls, each one containing a small piece of wisdom. Life is never smooth and we all have ‘grit’ to deal with but could it just be that the irritations we face are the very things God will use to cause greatness to emerge. All the while an oyster is experiencing discomfort, something of great value is growing inside. Happy Listening

For those who are in a time of transition. It’s time to fly!

Every day we have decisions to make •For some there’s a risk they have to dare to take•Ever been tired of always being contained •Desire to leap into a wide-open space •There’s a place of new opportunity, a place of possibility • I’m calling it living in betweentrapezes •Though this jigsaw doesn’t have all the pieces • Sometimes you’ve gotta let goof the need to know • It’s only when living in between trapezes • That you defy gravity • And you really learn to fly, cos you are free! • Leaving behind the safety of what was • Takes inner strength and it take guts • It’s never easy to embrace the unknown • Butit’s a fear we gotta overcome • There’s a place of new opportunity, a place of possibility • Living in between, living in between, living in between, oh • Living in between, living in between, living in between, oh • Living in between trapezes you defy gravity • And you really learn to fly, cos you are free • You are free to fly • You are free to fly

Ecclesiastes 3:11 ‘He has made everything beautiful in its time.’ The Bible.

There is a time to live, a time for passing • A time to run, a time for just standing• A time to laugh, a time for tears •A time to jump and let go of the fear • Butthis I know, there is always a time to worship• Woah oh (repeat) • A time tospeak, a time for silence • A time for change, a time for more patience • A timeto build, a time for pulling down the walls • A time for peace, to bring an end toall these wars! • But this I know, there is always a time to worship • Woah oh(repeat) • You are with me, each valley I face • Even winter has a special place• Through every season You make everything so beautiful • In its time, in its time• Beautiful in its time •Woah oh (repeat)
