AG100. Yamaha invented the AG bike back in the early 1970s when a team of engineers simultaneously delved deep into the New Zealand farm land as well as the Queensland hinterland to fi nd out what cockies wanted in the way of two wheeled transport.

The result is essentially what you see here. The reason that the now legendary AG100 has remained largely unchanged is simple. It continues to perform the tasks it was designed for. Those tasks haven’t changed much either.

Its economical 98cc two-stroke engine is fi tted with neutral at the bottom (for ease of selection when opening/closing gates), an extra low fi rst gear with a second and third spread perfect for low speed mustering or crop inspection. And convenient features like dual side stands, clutch lock, oversize tool compartment, front and rear racks and a fully enclosed chain are designed for the working farmer.

Light weight, easy manoeuvrability and simple maintenance are all features that New Zealand and Australian farmers wanted from the fi rst AG bike. Yamaha’s AG100 continues to deliver.

AG200E. Yamaha’s AG200 is the only bike in its class built from the ground up for farm use. Its simple, no-nonsense engineering combines a bullet proof 196cc four-stroke engine with a tough steel chassis equipped with monoshock rear suspension to provide a machine capable of years of faithful service.

The simple and reliable AG200 shares many of the same convenient features found on the original AG100 but includes electric start – with handy back up kick starter. The AG200 also features neutral at the bottom, a super plush seat for long hours in the saddle and all those original features demanded by New Zealand and Australian farmers.
